Dr. Karapetian grew up in Armenia, and completed his undergraduate and dental studies in Yerevan in 1992. He continued with advanced training in Moscow, Russia and Alizey, Germany, studying advanced dental restoration techniques, before emigrating to the United States.
Determined to be a leader in the field of dental reconstruction, Dr. Karapetian continued his dental studies, obtaining a degree from University of the Pacific, and attending advanced courses at the prestigious Duggan Study Institute and the Nobel Biocare Dental Implant Training Institute.
Acting as a general dentist but specializing in endodontics, dental implants and periodontal treatment, Dr. Karapetian is also a member of the UCLA Gum Disease Study Group and the San Pedro Periodontal and Implant Study Club.
Dr. Karapetianss goal is to develop a lasting relationship with each patient and the families he treats. Trust and confidence is the key to his success. He is passionate about giving his patients the best care every time he sees them. In Dr. Karapetians quest to offer the highest degree of comfort to his patients, he has been highly trained to treat patients with dental phobias. Dr. Oganesian has graduated from Yerevan Medical State University in 1992. Then she continued work as dentist in Moscow, Russia in 2002. She moved to United States abd received her DDS license from University of Southern California.

The reason here boiling down to the fact that smiling is related to positive feelings and happiness, which are indicators of well-being. An authentic grin will cause the skin around the eyes to crinkle and the orbicularis oculi, a facial muscle that will contract involuntarily. This dentist is the goat! I have went to a ton of different doctors throughout my lifetime, and have never felt more comfortable when doing dental work. I will never go to anyone else anymore. He made my wisdom tooth removal feel like I'm at a salon. I was in and out within 10 minutes without any pain. Thank you boss I appreciate you!

After years of delaying my wisdom tooth extraction, it began hurting me, to the point I couldn't take it anymore. So I went to my primary dentist, which by the way, is incredible. She is one of the best in LA. After examining me, she referred me to Dr.Karapetian. By doing that, I knew if she couldn't do it, it must be a highly complicated and lengthy procedure. Seeing how confident and knowledgeable Dr.Karapetian was, all my nerves and butterflies went away. After all the horror stories I've heard about wisdom tooth extractions, this will be like an hour-long procedure, thinking to myself. The numbing, which by the way, always hurts, I didn't feel a thing. It took Dr.Karapetian less than 5 minutes to extract my tooth. He had very light, gentle, and fast hands. Dr.Karapetian was explicit on post-operative care. The paperwork, the wait after the numbing process, and the stitching after the extraction, I was in and out in 30 minutes. I waited to write this review till after I've fully recovered, and I've recovered entirely and would recommend Dr.Karapetian to everyone.

I like the staff ,but not the dr at all. I had an an appointment for 4:30pm and i was there on time no patient inside and the the doctor chating with his Armenian friend and talking about what they did in Armenia in front of the strip club that the friend was drunk and just they called cab to take him home " the reason I go with details is to let the dr know i am real customer" after 20 min wait he checked and he said is late i have family and kids that have soccer practice i want to spend sometime with them , he said you can make an appointment next week or my wife also is a dr she can work on your teeth. I understand you are good husband or father ,but why you explain your life to me , just do your job please. long story short , Bad attitude , NOT respectful. I am not going back.

After a very bad experience with a few dentists I was told to contact Kool Dentistry. They might seem a little unfriendly to someone who is not familiar with Armenian culture, but they are the best! Dr. Karapetian not only tolerated my 10000 questions (i was very scared and superstitious because of my previous negative experience), but also did an awesome job fixing my teeth. I had a root canal done, a crown and a filling. They also found cavities in a wisdom tooth, but i decided not to fix it for now and have it removed later as i don't really use it; I maxed out my insurance for 2020 so i have to wait for next year or pay cash. Also their prices are very reasonable and if i remember correctly if payment is in cash there is a 10% discount. I found my dentist in LA! P.S. they can 3D print crowns in the office!!

After going to Dr. Karapetian for years, my mother decided to pull the trigger and get veneers. It's been a few months, and my mom is loving her new smile, she confidently smiles now which is nice to see. They're very unorganized, I basically wasted my time. I was referred by a family friend and unfortunately it was a complete waste. I showed up to get a redo root canal, and only then did they bring up the whole cost....awful...I'm very disappointed. Good luck, they may treat you better if you know them, but chances are slim! The male doctor seems way nicer, the other female doctor not so much. Instead of having a reassuring effect on me she had the opposite. Very unprofessional overall. The front desk worker is also very cold, not friendly at all. Bad vibes....
