Dr. Konig maintains a private practicelocated near the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Our office employs the use of state-of-the-art high tech treatment modalities including the use of lasers, computerized bite analysis,tooth whiteningtechnology, and CBCT 3D Imaging System. The 3D imaging allows for accurate dental implant planning and imaging of the TMJ, and helps ensure the most effective treatment for each of our patients.
A graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Konig continued his post-graduate training at theL.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry, completing all four essential courses, before attending theLas Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies(LVI). He was awarded a Fellowship from theAcademy of General Dentistryfor his extensive continuing education endeavors.

I decided that I wanted to become a dentist in my sophomore year in college. I really wanted to be in a profession to help people and did not enjoy the the hospital environment, making dentistry my choice and it has remained my passion ever since.
I really learned much more when I graduated. To me a doctorate degree is a license to learn and it is also an ongoing responsibility. Since that time when I first graduated, I learned that a profession and degree is an ongoing journey rather than a destination.
I enjoy learning as well as the challenges that learning sometimes brings with it. It is not enough to just have knowledge. Understanding that all patients are individuals who have specific needs and concerns and connecting with the patients needs with my knowledge to get the best possible outcome is always a challenge I look forward at tackling.
Due to the nature of our practice and some of the complex cases we see, it is a true joy to be able to change patients lives whether it involves eliminatingTMJ painorcreating a new smilethat dramatically changes their lives.

I am a native Houstonian and went to Bellaire High School. I love our city and am proud of the changes that have occurred through the years. Our community now boasts some of the best art and cultural museums as well as theatre in the country. It also has developed a diverse range of awesome restaurants, which I take full advantage of.
Our office is located just outside theTexas Medical Center, allowing our patients easy access to our office and our out-of-state/country patients an easy area to get to. The Texas Medical Center is one of the largest employers in the city as well. The Museum District is also down the street, creating a fun and interesting area to work. The renowned Rice University is also just down the street and MD Anderson is as well.
