Im grateful to have received such an excellent education in dentistry. Im even more appreciative that Ive developed skills over the past 25 years that allow me not only to treat my patients, but to do it with a great deal of effectiveness and skill.
New advances are constantly being made in dental care. I want to make sure I keep up on them. So, I take advanced training courses every year. That way, you can rest assured youll always receive the most effective, comfortable treatments.
Jill is our amazing certified registered dental hygienist. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she has been living in Sarasota from a very young age. Jill attended high school locally at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. She moved to Fort Lauderdale to attend the dental program at Broward College. There she completed a 1 in 1 program graduating with her dental assisting certificate, dental hygiene license, and licensure to administer local anaesthetic. Jill has furthered her education in a Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. She plans to achieve her masters degree in adult education so she can educate upcoming dental hygienists clinically and in the classroom.
In her free time Jill loves to be with her friends and family. She is married to a firefighter for Charlotte county and has two pups! She is a BIG college football fan (Go LSU Tigers!) Oral health and care is very important to Jill. She creates individual plans for each patient based on their needs and concerns. Jill is committed to aiding Dr. Konency in creating happy and healthy smiles for all of his wonderful patients.

Today was my first visit to Konecny Dentistry. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Jill is sweet and gentle and did a great job with my teeth cleaning. Dr. Konecny is very knowledgeable, helpful and fair. I am so happy that I have found an amazing new dentist is Sarasota.

Konecny Denistry was a great experience for me. I moved here recently from New York and struggled to find a dentist until now. Their office was very clean and the staff was super friendly. They took me in right on time and did a great job at the cleaning. I would highly recommend.

Had a massive dental undertaking, and was not looking forward to ANY part of it. The Dr. and staff at the office are the best! Took the time to explain what would happen in detail prior, what is happening during the procedure, and even looked in on me during my aftercare at home. Professional, conscientious, and efficient. Can't ask for more.

I have been to so many different dentists over the decades having moved from country to country and State to State. I have never felt as comfortable, welcome and at ease as I do at Dr. Konecny's practice. The experience and knowledge he and his staff possess is nothing short of amazing. I am never nervous going there and I've never once felt like Dr. Konecny doesn't have my best interest in mind at all times. I couldn't be happier!

I just moved from Kissimmee to Venice. This is a great dental office! Monica, Jill and Dr. Konecny were all fun (but professional) and terrific at their jobs! I will certainly be back and will recommend them. I have no affiliation to them whatsoever.

Everyone at this dental office is so kind and so great at what they do! I've always had lovely experiences with them. My younger brother who has Down syndrome also sees Jill, and she is so sweet with him and makes it comfortable for him when he goes. Would definitely recommend Konecny Dentistry!

Got a last minute dental appointment at Konecny Dentistry. The office was able to get me in as soon as possible which made my life so much easier. Jill the hygienist cleaned my teeth to perfection and was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience extremely pleasant. After my cleaning Dr. Konecny looked at my teeth and fixed any imperfections he saw immediately and was very informative for how I can better care for my oral health in the future. Highly recommend Konecny Dentistry! I will be going back for all future dental work and will recommend to all my friends and family.

Great experience from start to finish! Monica at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming, Jill did the most thorough cleaning and made me relaxed and comfortable the entire time and Dr. Konecny is so wonderful at taking the time, explaining everything and making the whole process so easy to understand. I couldn't ask for a better experience! I was able to say hi to all three of the ladies on staff and they made me feel right at home! Dr. Konecny was no different. He's very personable and laid back, yet professional. I don't really have any dental issues, but was overdue for an exam. I had driven by their office several times recently and knew it was meant to be. Plus, it was so refreshing to go into a medical office that didn't have that typical sterile feel about it.

Awesome experience all around. Staff is friendly, the cleaning went well and was easy - Jill is super great. Dr. Konecny is nice and easy going. He even filled my cavity in 20 minutes - I felt no pain. Glad we found our new family dentist upon moving to Sarasota.
