Dr. Komura is the daughter of local orthodontist, Dr. Robert Komura and his wife, Lucy (known by many as Skip), a kindergarten teacher. Raised right here in Ojai, Dr Komura attended local schools and graduated from Nordhoff HS. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Advertising from the University of Washington, and worked in marketing for several years in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Komura earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1997. After working in Santa Maria for several years, Dr. Komura returned home to Ojai in 2002, where she was honored to join the practice of Drs. Robert Carson and Wyatt Harris. This enduring practice, now known as Restore Dental Group, specializes in comprehensive restorative dental treatment and has been extant for over 100 years.
My name is Megan, I grew up and still currently reside in Ventura. I have been in the Dental field for over 20 years with experience and knowledge in multiple specialties. I started out in High School as a Dental Assistant which immediately led me to pursue my RDA (registered dental assistant), of which I still maintain. Through that I found a love for Oral Surgery, where I worked for about 14 years as an OMSA (oral and maxillofacial surgical assistant). As my 2 children grew in age I wanted to spend more time with them so I transitioned to teaching Dental Assisting courses along with joining Restore Dental Group in 2019. I have enjoyed every moment in getting to know the patients of the Ojai area and look forward to many years of helping Dr. Komura and the team provide exceptional care to everyone who walks through our door.
My name is Victoria, but I go by Tori, and I am an Ojai Native. I graduated from Concorde college in July of 2015 and have been working as a dental hygienist ever since. I love working in the dental field and the relationships that I build with patients. I strive for excellence and take pride in having patients leave my dental chair with a smile. I enjoy hearing feedback from patients and any input that will help me grow professionally as a dental hygienist.
My name is Erica, and I have lived in Ojai since 2007. I received my bachelors in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern California in 2009 and have been working in both general dentistry and periodontics since then. I have been lucky enough to be part of the Restore Dental Group since 2015. As a hygienist, I strive to empower patients to achieve their ideal oral health through education and by providing the highest level of clinical care. When I am not at work I am usually on my next adventure exploring the world with my husband and son.
Hello, my name is Sharon and I am very pleased to be a part of the Restore Dental Group team. I have been a local since 1980. I have been an RDA for many years and thoroughly enjoy enhancing our patients smiles. As an RDA I have had the privilege of working alongside an oral surgeon, pedodontist, but I get most fulfillment from restorative work. I feel that helping patients perfect their smiles is my most valuable professional skill. When not working I enjoy the beauty of Ojai with family and friends.

My first visit since Covid 2020. Entire staff was professional and courteous. Very comprehensive exam and thorough explanation by Dr. Komura. I will gladly return to this office for follow up appointments.
