My family and I have been going to Dr. Miller for years and he's always been very good. Despite many moves and still now living 40 minutes away, my husband and I have continued to go to him because we've always been comfortable with his work and his dental hygienists and staff are very friendly. The past few visits we have noticed that he is less and less involved unless you have a real problem - the hygienist does all of the work for routine visits. However, we didn't really mind until we brought our 3 year old for his first ever dentist visit. The dental hygienist did my whole cleaning first and my son was very good and sat there while I got it but then when it was his turn he was scared to go. (keep in mind Dr Miller hadn't been over to see me or him yet) The hygienist and I were trying to explain and show him all the tools to get him comfortable but my son continued to be nervous and wouldn't do it. When I tried to push him a bit more to do it he started crying and refusing, which is very unlike him, but pretty normal stuff for a 3 year old who was afraid of the dentist. Dr Miller came over when my son had been crying for maybe 1-2 minutes and said: "OK stop it. I cannot have that sound in my ears. I need to hear while I'm working. No one is going to torture you. You're going to come back on a day when you're acting better and when you come back that time I swear on my fathers grave that you will sit in that chair and won't get anything from the treasure chest of toys unless you actually sit and let us clean your teeth. And I promise you I won't give in because I'm a man of my word. So you can go now and we're not doing it today but next time you have to." I was absolutely shocked. I thought of this man as a friend of our family and have recommended him to many people. His handling of the situation of a new child being scared for his first time at the dentist was appalling. Clearly there was no plan or procedure to make kids comfortable at all but aside from that, just speaking to a child like that is disgusting. When I called the office to voice my disgust (as we had hurried out after that exchange) the wonderful assistant told me she was shocked herself and apologized and totally agreed that he handled the situation very poorly. My family and I will be going elsewhere. Not just myself and my husband, but my extended family who goes to him also. And I assure you I will no longer recommend him.

Dr. Miller and his entire team are simply 'THE BEST' at what they do! The best dentistry and cosmetic procedures in the country! The staff, especially Deirdre, are extremely polite and accommodating. We love Dr. Miller's energy level, awesome stories of various professional and personal experiences. Stephanie has turned out to be a great protege of Dr.Miller! My entire family including our 3 kids love coming to this office!

The best dentist there is. I had an issue with my two bottom teeth stemming from childhood and he was able to take care of them and basically save my teeth No other dentist would even try without telling me I need implants. I will be a patient for as long as he continues to practice. The doctor and his staff make you feel comfortable as soon as you call for an appointment. Another great thing is that all of the services are very affordable. Once again an amazing dentist!

This is the very best dentist on the planet. He knows his stuff... I have the most beautiful crowns because of his knowledge. I come all the way from South Caroline (I moved in 2013), to have him work on crowns, no one here has a clue.........
