Dentistry is my passion. I love helping my patients maintain good dental health, using the latest techniques and technologies to provide comfortable exceptional dental care. For the last 20 years in Santa Clara, California I built a thriving practice based on my core values relationships, integrity, and exceptional care. My patients, associates, and staff were like an extension of my family.
Last year, I picked up stakes and moved to Kyle to be closer to my actual family. My new practice, Kohlers Crossing Dental, is the result of years of training and experience as a general and cosmetic dentist. I have logged more than 100 hours of continuing education in just the last year, including the latest techniques in laser dentistry the newest method of providing dentistry that is faster, safer and more comfortable.
There are a variety of uses for lasers in the field of dentistry. Lasers can be used for cavity removal, teeth whitening, gum reshaping, oral surgery, the removal of bacteria from periodontal pockets, and treatment of cold sores and canker sores.
Dental lasers emit light that deliver quick pulses of heat energy to the treatment area. Various wavelengths are used depending on the type of tissue being treated. Surgical lasers are more accurate than traditional dental treatments and allow the dentist to conserve as much bone and tooth as possible.

I can't stand going to the dentist, but the staff at Kohler's Crossing Dental in Kyle make the experience super calm and easy. Dr. Sanford does an exceptional job at making you feel comfortable and utilizes exceptionally modern equipment. The staff and quality of care received is *phenomenal*- from the front desk assistance when you schedule an appointment, to the friendly dental technicians and Kassi- the amazing and thorough hygienist- I'm definitely impressed with this place!

Dr. Sanford and her whole team are awesome. I have already referred multiple friends and family members to her office. They are super thorough, gentle and friendly! I wouldn't go anywhere else for dental care.

After having a less than desirable experience at a brand new dental office that opened in Kyle, I was referred to Kohler's Crossing Dental and was told, "Just go to my dentist. You will like Dr. Sandford." I did schedule my appointment and went in with an open mind. The staff was amazing when I had entered. I had filled out all the paperwork online. I was a little worried I was going to run into a problem because I did not have my dental insurance card. They were able to pull it up without a problem. I was brought back for X Rays and Scans of my teeth. The techs took their time and ensure I had all of my concerns and issues addressed. Dr Sandford was amazing. She listened to my concerns and spent much more time that the previous dentist I saw. I appreciated her attention to detail. She also went the extra mile to check for cancer. I had already been diagnosed with sleep apnea; but, she made sure my equipment was working and I was not running into any issues. I had my dental cleaning and was brought back to the office manager after my visit, unlike the previous dental clinic I went to who tried to upsell me before even doing any type of work on my teeth. I will definitely be going back. I appreciated the staff's professionalism and friendliness. I am glad I did make my appointment here.

Dr. Sandford and her team provide not only superior service but superb expertise in her procedures. This is coming from a father of 5, all of whom call Dr. Sanders their dentist. From cleanings to fillings to crowns, Dr. Sanders has performed them all on us with outstanding results and minimal discomfort. We actually no longer dread going to the dentist. I would give more stars if I could. Highest recommendations!

My entire life I've dreaded the dentist. But I just love Dr. Sanford and Kim. They make you feel so comfortable while providing great efficient service. I went here 2 years ago and the last time I went, I was supposed to get a mouth guard. After my consultation, I paid half of the amount upfront. They called me a few days later and told me insurance would not pick up the remaining amount so I told them never mind on the mouthguard. A year and a half later, I get a bill for the $295 for the mouthguard I never picked up. I called and spoke to the billing person and she said she would look into it and call me back. She never called me back and now, they sent the bill to a credit agency. What the hell. Not only did they not reimburse me for what I paid, they are seeking payment for something I never even received. Update, I called and spoke to the office manager and she made this right. I still didn't get refunded the money I paid out of pocket, but at least it isn't reported to a collection agency anymore.

Great friendly staff. I appreciate this location for kindness as well as making it possible to schedule a total of 4 in the same two hour window which was very convenient for us. Happy with their service! Highly recommend.

This place is the best! in the past My Experiences with other dentists Have been so bad it kept me from seeing a dentist for 7 years! Kholers has restored my faith, and my Smile ..... Dr. Sanford is just a knowledgeable, Caring, genuine individual with a team& Staff to match.....She always explains everything in a clear ,very professional manner (noncritical) GIVES YOU OPTIONS!, and will work with you.
