Michael was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and came to Florida early in high school. He has European roots in Ireland and Switzerland, and lived in Ireland as a boy, where much of his family resides.
Jennifer was born in Epping, New Hampshire, and came to Florida as a young girl. She has family in New England and South Florida. Jennifer and Michael met at the University of Florida during Undergraduate Studies. There they decided together to study Dentistry, and attended Nova Southeastern University Dental School together, during which they got married. Michael and Jennifer have spent their careers practicing Dentistry in private dental offices and clinics and have been at their current location in Davie for 9 years.
Michael and Jennifer purchased the established office of Mark Hellerman in 2009. In 2013, they acquired the practice of retired Dr. Jeffrey Auerbach, a long established and reputable dentist in Broward county. The office always enjoys welcoming new patients and look forward to furthering their reputation as honest and dependable private dentists in the community. Jennifer and Michael have a 3 year old daughter, Madelyn, and a 6 month old son, Kieran. They live happily togetherin West Davie. They look forward to continuing tocare for their patients and meeting many new in the future.

Dr. Michael Kocher is passionate about all aspects of Dentistry. He is especially fond of more technical and surgical fields and is very active in continuing education to offer his patients a wider knowledge base and skill set which lead to healthier mouths and bigger smiles. Surgical intervention for the removal of teeth is often a traumatizing experience for the patient. But a combination of a special bedside manner and technical skills has helped many patients get through the process more smoothly and comfortably than they had imagined. Dr. Michael is fully committed to the replacement of missing teeth and believes in dental implant therapy in addition to removable and fixed prostheses to restore the mouth to proper function and superb esthetics.
Dr. Michaelpatients appreciate his conservative practice style and hiscommunication skills, which are straightforward and on the level, putting aside pressure-filled and salesyexplanations for more simple and honest assessments in terms that everyone can understand.

I don't see how this office is rated so highly. I went in for an appointment as a new patient. My appointment was at 350 but they were late and didn't see me until 415. So nearly half hour late they were. The initial nurse was very nice to me and had a great personality and the staff in general has great customer service. When I see the main dentist they ended up doing , I was told later, even though I recall them doing the right side, that only my left side was done with x rays. It feels like they became fixated on my issues on that site where the major stuff was happening instead of addressing all my concerns. The dentist was professional and did not rush me , the only problem was being too fixated on the left side. They wouldn't prescribe me any other antibiotic besides Clindamycin which I did not want to take because it is a black box antibiotic (which their staff didn't even know about) that can have very dangerous side effects. They also wouldn't tell me over the phone how much it would be to get an extraction done by a specialist even though in person they told me the price for a root canal from that same specialist. Overall I'm disappointed in my experience with them and probably won't go back

Myself and my daughter have been going to Kocher and Kocher dentistry for several years now. I am so happy with them. Always a pleasant experience and they are always efficient. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I have been using Kocher and Kocher dentistry since they opened in Davie and I would not go anywhere else. From the front office staff to both Dr Michael and Dr Jennifer, you could not ask for nicer people. The expertise from these doctors is beyond compare.

Front desk is very unprofessional, fail to verify your insurance correctly. They wait until you go to your appointment to tell you that your insurance does not cover them and they will offer their in house insurance instead to scam money. They are very inconsiderate of people who have take time off to go to their office. In addition, they couldn't even apologize for wasting my time.

Dr Kocher, where have you been all my life! Best dental experience ever and I had a root canal done. The staff was friendly and attentive. Dr Kocher was extremely nice, advised me of every step and made sure I did not have any pain! His assistant was so sweet and patient. I have had an unhealthy fear of dentists my entire life until now! Simply amazing experience! Million thanks to Kocher & Kocher dentistry, I found my dentist!

My first time at Kocher dentistry was amazing. I was originally scheduled for an appt a month away, but the receptionist Maggie was so pleasant to call me after a sudden cancellation. Dara, my hygienist was extremely nice and did a fantastic job on my teeth. Happy to have found a new dentist so close to home. In and out, super professional, and the staff were refreshing. Thanks again.

This may sound crazy, but I actually look forward to going to the dentist! Dr. Jenny and Dr. Mike are wonderful. They run a fine practice as reflected in their staff. They treat you like family, and having your teeth cleaned by Dara is like a gum massage!
