Every morning starts with a smile for Dr. William Kochenour when he walks into his practice. The day will be filled with interesting interactions with patients and coworkers offering new challenges and opportunities to effect positive changes in peoples lives. Dr. Kochenour knows that orthodontic treatments may not only help improve patients self-esteem but also the whole of their lives, from their overall health to daily interactions. He believes in emphasizing the need for open communication between himself and his patients, so Dr. Kochenour works with each patient to determine their specific orthodontic care needs and goals. He then crafts their individualized treatment plan. With gentle, caring hands and state-of-the-art orthodontic technology, Dr. Kochenour creates beautiful smiles and optimal oral health.
Dr. Kochenour is an advocate for continuing education and actively pursues such opportunities. He attends conferences, professional meetings, and seminars, in addition to training sessions and hands-on demonstrations. Dr. Kochenour is also sought after as educator and presenter at orthodontic conferences, meetings, and seminars.
Dr. Kochenour and his wife Pat live in Palm Harbor, FL. They have four children, three daughters-in-law and a son-in-law. When not working, Dr. Kochenour loves to spend time with his family and friends. He is an avid fan of the Ohio Buckeyes and the Tampa Bay Rays. Dr. Kochenour also enjoys staying active by regularly participating in sporting activities like triathlons.
My education in dentistry and orthodontics has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. Now, by regularly participating in continuing education, I am able to stay current on the latest technology and orthodontic treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide them with more options and better results. I am a member of several professional associations that provide me with opportunities for continuing education.
I am truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families, and it is always such an honor to know that I have made a difference in so many of my patients lives. I couldnt ask for a better job or for better people sharing their smiles with me. I look forward to working with you.

I have been with Dr.Kochenoursince the practice began in 1983. As our office manager, I oversee all aspects of the practice, ensuring a smooth-flowing work day for us all. I work with the best team and I also get to meet all kinds of interesting families and help them to achieve their perfectKochenourSmile. I have been married for 30 years to my high school sweetheart. We have one dog named Allie, and four black cats, Kobe,Zeek, Lola, and Jackson. Theres no bad luck in our house though! I love spending time traveling in our RV, motorcycle riding, and crewing for my husbands drag bike team.
I have worked in the dental field for 18 years, and have spent the past six working with children to give them beautiful, healthy smiles. I like to create a calm, fun, yet nurturing environment so that each visit becomes more relaxed and comfortable. I enjoy gaining the trust of the kids when theyre feeling fearful, especially our special needs patients. They always leave our office with a smile! I have been married to my husband, Joe, for 34 years. We have two sons and our family is completed with our two dogs, Roxy and Bonsai. I enjoy reading, cooking, walking, and weekend boating with my family and friends. I also like volunteering at my sons school.

Biggest complaint is don't accidentally call the Ortho side when you need the dental side. They can be very rude and treat you like your not a Patient.

The best in the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Kochenour is great with children of all ages. We have been with his group for 12 years. Highly recommend this practice.

My daught has been under the care with Dr. Kochenour 6 years. The staff there can be very rude. She was to come back and get a procedure done but because she was attending a out of state university, it was difficult to get an appointment for this procedure. It took 2 years and Covid19 to finally get this procedure done. They were not accommodating even if she has been a patient for 6 years. Dr. Kochenour has done a great job with my daughter ortho care.

Amazing!!!! My son fell and knocked out his tooth and chipped his other tooth. It was 8pm when I called and Dr. Kochenour and his assistant met us at the office within 15 mins and fixed my sons tooth. They are truly a blessing!! They were both so nice and professional and made my son feel very comfortable. I made several calls and the dentist we usually see Cobbe Dental told us to go to the ER. We will definitely not be going back to Cobbe. We will only be seeing Dr. Kochenour from this point forward. Thank you!

Amazing!!!! My son fell and knocked out his tooth and chipped his other tooth. My whole family loves Dr Kockenour! He did a great job with my teeth - I got braces and my smile is perfect now. He is such a nice man and a great orthodontist. His office also has pediatric dentists that take care of my 8-year old son and everyone there makes him very comfortable; he is never afraid to go to the dentist!

Dr. Jenny Edwards was great with my son's first dental visit and so was the dental assistant , she was very nice and polite . The front office was also nice until I questioned the first bill that I received a couple of months later which I thought was ALREADY paid thru my ins. . I spoke to a lady by the name Pam , the person who handles the pediatric dept. She had mentioned that they had to resubmit my son's claim several times BUT SOMEHOW failed to mention to me that the office was not in network with my insurance when i first made the appointment . I called several times to get the proper payment sent to the dental office after speaking to my insurance company but was told again that the payment was not sent YET. I was sent to collection after receiving the first notice of payment over due , so I called the office to speak to pam AGAIN to ask why I was sent to collections after receiving one notice ? I had to tell her to let me speak because she was trying to talk over me when i asked her the question , "IF YOU called my insurance ahead of time to find out the prices then why didn't YOU tell me the prices when I took my son in ? ", well she hung up on me and I tried calling back several times and she did not have the decency of picking up not once she just let it ring and ring. This is not a very nice way to gain trust from your customers. Pam was very rude when i questioned her about what came out her mouth about knowing the prices ahead of time .This bill has been taken care of already Thank God! Please let the people know the truth when asked if you take their insurance . I will make sure to call my insurance company to verify also , something I always do .The one time i didn't , look at what happened WOW lesson learned.
