Dr. Buchheit graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1986 where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Buchheit served a one year general practice residency at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. While a resident he worked at the Main Dental Clinic in Alton, SIU Dental Clinic in East St. Louis and St. Marys Hospital.
Dr. Buchheit is very passionate about continuing education, the latest in research and technology, so he can offer his patients many different state of the art equipment and treatment options. Dr. Buchheit is proud to be a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center, one of the most rigorous continuing education programs for dental professionals. He is also a member of the Crown Council, which is an elite group of dentist from all over the world who share ideas, techniques, and education with each other. He participates in many continuing education courses providing the best and most current treatment modalities. Together, these 3 things allow Dr Buchheit and his team to provide the best dental care possible in the practice everyday.
Dr. Buchheit is raising a very successful family of 5 children. Jacob attends Rockhurst University, in Kansas, MO. Zach attends Quincy University, in Quincy, IL. Matt attends Marquette Catholic High School, in Alton, IL. Joe attends DeSmet Jesuit High School in St. Louis County, and Mary attends St. Norbert in Florissant, MO.
Official Greeter What do I do? My job is to greet everyone, make everyone happy, and make people feel right at home! Education: I dont have any formal education, but I make up for it in training from my master. Favorite spare time: I enjoy bacon, treats, playing ball, and a good back and belly scratching.

Second visit was as good as the first. Really nice staff and very updated equipment. Great dentist makes you feel very comfortable. Would recommend if you are looking for a dentist.

This place is the best dentist Ive been to in my life and ive been to a few. Everyone is incredibly nice, Sharon especially is easy to talk to and so much fun to be around. Didnt even realize when the doctor was numbing me and they did all three cavities quick and efficiently. Couldnt ask for a better experience.

I love the ambiance of this Dental office. Everyone there was so warm, joyful, pleasant and welcoming. The place is really clean and Dr.Bucheit is very knowledgeable about his craft. I am impressed with the customer service. This is a good dental spot. I recommend going there for your dental needs.

This office is amazing the staff is wonderful they make you feel comfortable. I have never been to a dentist office like this. They take away any anxiety that you may have. I highly recommend this office they were great especially Sharon she was truly amazing. I love Cinderella and princess they are making my smile beautiful again.
