We recommend that patients come to our office at least twice a year for checkups and cleanings. During your checkup with Dr. Kobza, he will look for signs of decay and gum disease among other issues. Kobza Dental began in Pawnee City, NE in 2007 and expanded into Falls City in 2013. Our Falls City office features a diverse range of services, including composite fillings, endodontic care, extractions, crowns, bridges, and dentures. If you have one or more missing teeth, Dr. Kobza can talk to you about replacing them with dental implants.

Few restorative services are as effective as dental implants. Unlike crowns, bridges, partials, and full dentures that only restore a tooth above the gum line, dental implants have a structure similar to natural teeth with a crown on top and a titanium prosthetic root underneath. With this titanium root, Dr. Kobza can help you enjoy results that both look and feel natural. That's because your implant(s) will fuse with your jaw and provide you with a firm foundation for your new restoration.

Initially, Dr. Kobza primarily studied Spanish and wanted to become a Spanish teacher. To support himself, he worked part-time selling shoes. His mother-in-law suggested that he look into becoming a podiatrist, but that didnt seem like the right fit. Luckily for him, he lived just down the street from a dental school, and it piqued his interest. After learning a little more about dentistry and being guided by his mentors, he decided it would be the ideal career for him.

Dr. Kobza attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for his undergraduate degree before earning his dental degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He then completed a one-year General Practice Residency program at UNMC Omaha, where he gained experience treating patients with a diverse array of medical conditions and special needs.

In 2007, Dr. Kobza began his private practice career, serving the needs of patients in Pawnee City, Nebraska. He eventually expanded to include Falls City in 2013, and beginning in 2016, he began practicing solely in Falls City.

Dr. Kobza is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Nebraska Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, which awarded him a Fellowship in 2014 for his work with dental implant placement and restoration.

Dr. Kobza and his wife, Marisa, are the proud parents of five children. When not spending time with his family or their dog, Cisco, he loves being outdoors, whether this involves hunting, fishing, or going on long bike rides. Despite becoming a dentist, he never lost his initial passion for languages, and today, he can speak both Portuguese and Spanish.

A Falls City native, Abby started working in dentistry in 2010 and continues her work with Dr. Kobza. She earned a diploma in dental assisting before completing a bachelors degree in dental hygiene at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln. As a dental hygienist, she loves helping others achieve better oral health, and she enjoys our offices friendly atmosphere. Her hobbies include photography, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

Jenna has more than a decade of dentistry experience, and she joined our team in 2018. She loves having the opportunity to meet new patients and help them understand the importance of maintaining good oral health. She studied dental hygiene at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, and Jenna maintains a CPR and local anesthesia certification. Originally from Bern, she lives outside of Dubois, Nebraska. She and her husband, Cody, are the proud parents of three daughters, Callie, Terryn, and Logan. When shes not hard at work or spending time with friends and family, Jenna enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and fishing.

Michelle was born and raised right here in Falls City, NE. She completed her studies at both the University of Nebraska and UNMC College of Dentistry, and she currently has over two full decades of experience in the world of dentistry. Since joining our team in 2020, she has thoroughly enjoyed meeting each patient and helping them on their journey to pristine oral health. Outside the office, Michelle spends every minute she can with her husband, Dennis, daughter, Cecelia, and son, Asa. She loves life on the farm, being outdoors, and quality time with friends and family. One thing you may not know about her is that she enjoys learning about interior design!

Marisa moved to Nebraska while in high school, and shes been working for Kobza Dental, PC since it was founded. She handles most of the behind the scenes work, including bookkeeping and advertising. Concerning the practice, she loves that she and the other team members are able to balance having fun with hard work. Her detail-oriented, Type A personality, as well as her affinity for multi-tasking and planning ahead, make her a great fit for her position! Marisa is married to Travis, and together, they have five children. When shes not busy at the office, she enjoys reading and cooking feeding others is a love of hers! Shes also very involved with the community, her church, and her childrens activities. Shes always eager to travel as well.

Veronica has been a member of the Kobza Dental family since 2016. A native of Falls City, she received an associates degree from Southeast Community College before returning to the city she loves. She has her coronal polishing and radiology certification from UNMC, and is CPR certified. Her favorite part of this position is seeing so many beautiful smiles every day! Outside of work, she is married with two kids and also comes from a big family of eight. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with loved ones and simply being outdoors.

Hannah has been a member of our team since 2018, and she loves being able to help patients achieve their perfect smiles! She has an associated degree in Business Administration from Southeast Community College. She has her coronal polishing and radiology certification from UNMC, and is CPR certified. Originally from Falls City, her favorite hobbies include hanging out with her siblings, nieces, and nephews, baking, and playing volleyball.

Krystal was born and raised right here in Falls City! She graduated with her B.A. from Doane College, ran an in-home daycare for five years, and recently made the switch to the dental field. She has undergone advanced training in radiation, and her favorite part of her job is working alongside her amazing coworkers. She is happily married with three children, who range from 3 to 9-years-old. In her free time, she enjoys doing just about anything that gets her outside, like camping, kayaking, and fishing.

Libby was born and raised right here in Falls City. She completed her studies at Northwest Missouri State University and has her radiology and CPR certification. Since joining our team in early 2021, her favorite part of her job has continued to be her coworkers, the atmosphere, and the patient interaction. Congratulations are in order since she recently bought a house and got a new puppy, Oakley Ray! She loves using her free time outside the office to hang with loved ones, be outdoors, and bake.

A Nebraska native, Courtney loves serving patients in Falls City and beyond! She earned her degree in Marine Biology from Northwest Missouri State University and joined our team in July 2021. When asked, she shared the best thing about her job is her colleagues and the patients. While her colleague keep each day lively and fun, the patients have amazing stories and advice to share. She spends her free time away from the office with her boyfriend and their many animals. She also enjoys going on walks, doing crafts, and going to the lake. One thing you may not know about her is that she is an open-water certified scuba instructor with aspirations to become a master diver in the future!

One of the newest members of our team, Diana joined our practice in September 2021. Since day one, her teachable nature, love for our team, and care for our patients have made her a perfect addition. Originally from Idaho, she attended Eastern Idaho Vocational Technical School (now known as the College of Eastern Idaho). Away from the office, Diana enjoys spending time with her loved ones, including her husband of nearly 40 years, her three outstanding children, her incredible grandson, and her two fur babies. She also enjoys creative planning, using stickers, washi tape, paint, and other tools to create her gratitude log, write down her favorite scriptures, track her bucket list items, and more!
