Debby started her career as a dental assistant and continued her education into dental hygiene. She graduated from the University of Hawaii at Mnoa on Oahu. She loves being at the beach, enjoying different culinary experiences, traveling, and most of all, spending time with family. Debby is very dedicated to helping clients meet their personal oral health goals. We hope all of our clients feel comfortable and leave the chair loving their smile.
Keri was born and raised in Lahaina, Maui. She graduated from University of Hawaii, Maui College with an AS in Dental Hygiene in 2013. She has been working in the dental field for the last 11 years. One of her most memorable experiences was a dental mission in the Philippines where she got to help others and experience a simple way of life.
Bridgid moved to Maui in 2002 shortly after she graduated high school from Avalon, Santa Catalina Island, California. She attended the Dental Assisting Program at Maui College and received her certification in 2005. Bridgid has been in the dental field for 15 years as a Dental Assistant and Front office coordinator. She strives to take care of patients and make them feel comfortable and at ease.
Chrismel moved to Maui in 2016. She is very proud to be a part of our Team because everyone works together to provide patients the best service possible, and she looks at each day as an opportunity to learn something new and exciting.
Dr. Kobayashi is from Honolulu, Hawaii, and is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry. Dr. Kobayashi has completed over 2000 hours of post graduate continuing education classes and is a graduate of the L.D. Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education and has completed classes at The Dawson Academy, the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, the Kois Center, and Spear Education.
He is past president of the Hawaii Dental Association (2007) and continues as an active member of Seattle Study Club, Maui Postgraduate Dental Forum, the American Dental Association, Hawaii Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kobayashi is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and has been selected, by his peers, through Honolulu Magazine, as one of Hawaiis Best Dentist (2009 to 2014) and is listed as one of USA Top Dentist since 2009.
Dr. Todorova brings a unique wealth of experience and knowledge to our Dental Team. She was born and raised in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. There, her curiosity and academic achievements earned her acceptance to a prestigious Spanish high school, where she became proficient in Spanish. Later on, she obtained her first bachelors degree in math and computer science.
Dr. Todorova moved to Chicago in 2005. She immersed herself in her new town, learning her third language, English. She worked to earn her second bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from UIC. Her dedication to science and love of learning sparked her interest in dentistry, where she achieved her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Her commitment to dentistry is broad and endless; she has completed extensive research within the dental community and earned her first publication in 2014. Dr. Todorova volunteers in her free time and has traveled to places including Tanzania to help underserved populations. She has also completed courses with the prestigious Dawson Academy as part of her commitment to being a lifelong student in her profession.
Dr. Todorova strives to be knowledgeable and proficient with all the latest advancements in dentistry to fulfill her greatest joy of all providing the best care possible for her patients. Dr. Todorova believes the best approach to dental care is to view the patient-doctor relationship as a partnership with the goal of creating long-term oral health success and patient satisfaction.
Dr. Todorova moved to Maui in 2021 and loves her new home. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, doing yoga, and outdoor activities as hiking and diving, but the greatest joy is to spend time with her dog, Yuki.

I was on vacation in Maui and my crown fell off when I was there. I was very worried about my tooth and needed to find a dentist to put my crown back on. I found this dental office in Lahaina and I couldn't be more grateful. The office was clean, the staff was great, and Dr. Irena was so caring and considerate. She made sure to ease my worries and made me feel very comfortable about the treatment. She explained everything she would be doing and cemented my crown on. She was very thorough and precise to make sure it wouldn't fall off again. I am so happy with the professionalism and great care I received from Dr. Irena!

5 stars is not enough, I met my favorite dentist ever while on vacation in Lahaina. I just have to say, Dr. Irena is absolutely amazing! I never expected this to be a highlight of our trip. I had to get an emergency root canal a day into our trip and have never known seeing a dentist could be this wonderful! I was out of pain in no time, Dr. Irena was so sweet and took care of me better than my dentist I've had for 15 years. I guess I'll just have to be coming back more often to see my new dentist . Thank you again for taking care of me, I enjoyed a pain free vacation and am so grateful for Dr. Irena and her wonderful staff!

Definitely not a good dentist. Here is my story. Had an appointment one day to get my fillings done on my front teeth. He didn't do a good job at it because he totally changed the shape of my front teeth that looked much crooked. Nothing can be changed to return it to normal. Had to live with this mistake for the rest of my life.

Dr. Kobayashi and his team are amazing. They are all super friendly and made me feel so comfortable with each visit. Doctor Kobayashi fixed my smile and helped me with my issues with my teeth. He even called me after to see how I was doing. Wow! That's so awesome to have your dentist care about his patients that he took time to call me. His assistant Bridget is awesome when I told her in the past I gag when I did the impression. She listen and didn't add to much pink stuff and helped me through my anxiety. I definitely highly recommend Dr. Kobayashi if you are looking for a dentist. Thank you so much Dr. Kobayashi and your team for making my experience there great.

Dr. Kobayashi is amazing. He has a very gentle touch and explains everything to you so you know what will happen. He's extremely knowledgeable knowledgeable and is up to date on all the latest in dentistry. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Kobayashi is great! One of my wisdom teeth was giving me problems (it was broken several years ago but only now bothering me). He looked at it and the xrays of it. He clearly explained what the issue was with it. He then went through all the options I had from removing it to having a root canal and capping it. I decided on removing it. He was able to extract it with no issue. The procedure was painless. I feel lucky to of found such a great dentist on Maui and will continue to go there :)

Dr Ho was able to help me on short notice. My appointment started within a few minutes of the booked time. I had broken a corner of my tooth off exposing a filling. She was very competent and explained the options and the steps taken. I would highly recommend her.

Recently, I needed to find a dentist for a chipped veneer and ended up going to Dr. Kobayashi, and I must say, the dentist and staff were magnificent! The dentist's actual work of my tooth was precise to perfection. No matter what obstacles, the dentist was patient and took his time. He explained everything to me, so there were no surprises. Having said that, when I went to pay the bill, I couldn't believe how reasonable the price was. Moreover, the Dentist did a personal follow up call to see how I was doing, really, who does that any more? Well, if you are looking for the true aloha spirit, dental work performed with perfection and care, you must go see Dr. Kobayashi and his fabulous staff! Patients: Charles and Sara Equiarta

Such an amazing office and dentist- my son broke his permanent front tooth very badly on hurricane day and he was so kind to stay for my son to fix it and spent almost three hours during a hurricane to make my poor little son look normal and not be terrified- the kindest thing ever and most amazing work-can't even tell he broke his tooth. -and such an amazingly sweet office because we were obviously very traumatized and frantic it happened. I can't say enough kind words about this dentist and office

I've been a loyal patient of Dr. Kobayashi's office since 1999, and over the years, it's safe to say everyone there has become like family. Each visit I am greeted with a warm smile, which alone, makes a visit that most people dread enjoyable. When it has come to things like fillings, (for the few cavities I have had over the years) Dr. Kobayashi has always taken a gentle approach to ensure any work done is as painless as possible and never have I had a negative experience while in his care. Recently, Dr. Kobayashi has added Dr. Ho to his practice, as well. Not only is she an excellent dentist, but Dr. Ho also mirrors the same kindness I have come to see from each and every member of this dental team. I could not recommend Dr. Kobayashi's office enough, be it for annual cleanings or any other dental need - THESE PEOPLE ROCK <3

I went there for an emergency toothache/ extraction. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Dr Kobayashi was very nice and professional. Thanks to the great staff and Doctor for their support. Aloha!!
