Dr. Jeff Knutzen was born in Newport Beach, California and was raised in Colorado. After returning to California, he received his Bachelors in Arts at the University of California, Santa Barbara and Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California. He graduated with Deans top honors from USC and was the recipient of several distinguished awards:
Since 1994, Dr. Knutzen has been on the leading edge of cosmetic and family dentistry. His technique and skills have remained current through continuing education and memberships in professional organizations. Dr. Knutzen prides himself on honesty and integrity. He is also a devoted husband to his wife, Cathy and father to his two children, Taylor and Ryan. Aside from his interest in dentistry, he enjoys surfing, swimming, mountain biking and skiing.

Great experience! Thorough cleaning by Cynthia and careful evaluation by Dr. Knutzen. Front staff Monica very helpful as well! Highly recommend.

Very thorough cleanings and excellent dental care. I'm very happy with Dr Knutzen and his competent staff. I've had several years of cleanings and occasional fillings, etc, - and I highly recommend.

Dr Knutzen became my dentist after previous one retired. Been seeing him for several years now. Recently I trusted him to re crown my 4 top front teeth. The thought of doing this again made me nervous but his staff is amazing and they walked me through step by step. I am so pleased with the way his team made them look so natural. They are beautiful! SUPER HAPPY with my new smile!!

I have been to Knutzen's office multiple times. Jeff has never recommended any additional dental work outside of the cleaning that I was scheduled for. Definitely trust Dr. Knutzen's opinions.

I recently received two new crowns from Dr Knudsen due to having root canals in those teeth. Before the procedure all of the insurance and costs were thoroughly explained with a very easy to understand statement of what would be covered by insurance and what I would need to pay - a very transparent process. His contracted rates were not any higher than other dentists for the procedure I was having. This is a sign of a good dentist with good staff. My procedure went well and Dr Knudsen provided explanations of the procedure along the way. My new crowns look and feel great. Looks like I have found my new dentist!

Update: I thought Dr. Knutzen was great until he actually did some dental work. Now I think he is horrible. He had a crown made for an implant I have. It looks horrible! I now have a huge gap between my two upper front teeth. When I complained he said that was the best he could do. Over $2,000 for a crown that looks awful. I knew Knutzen is more expensive than most dentists, but I was willing to pay his higher rates for what I thought was better service. I was mistaken. Now I have to pay another dentist to fix Knutzen's lousy work. What a ripoff!!! Do yourself a favor and find a better dentist.

Our whole family goes to Dr Knutzen for our dental needs. We get great, personalized care from him and his staff. Lindsay and Brittany in the front office are very friendly and helpful, too. I highly recommend this practice!
