SEVIERVILLE OFFICE PERMANENTLY CLOSED?!?!?! IT IS SO SAD THAT THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED BECAUSE IT IS SO NEEDED IN SEVIERVILLE!!!! WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT WE DID NOT RECEIVE A CALL OR LETTER INFORMING US THAT THIS OFFICE WAS CLOSED. WE FOUND OUT WHEN WE WENT FOR A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. THE WAY THIS WAS HANDLED WAS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

Our child had the unfortunate experience of being sent here. We are now working with another dentist to save and repair the damage done by this chop shop of a Dental office. I never make reviews as I know work and life is hard but this place is seriously a danger and barbaric in thier desires to put crowns on your child's baby teeth. O and forget the x rays or a clean office. When ya watch your kid with blood coming down thier checks being used for profit it is beyond disgusting. We are ashamed as parents to have not stopped and walked out immediately. Go in for a filling walk out with no x-rays and get 3 crowns.... Mom trusted the Dentist as we never experience this kind of situation only to be informed by other Dentists that my "God what kinda place is this" when they see what they have to repair. There are good Dentists and this place is not in any way one of them. You have been warned y'all. It's bad there so so bad.

Updated: they reply back saying on here they will help after being a good client for many years but lied, they just said that to save face on review! They won't help my daughter with anything . I am so upset my daughter went here since a baby and she has serious issues . She needs braces which we finally have appt set up and 2 major jaw surgeries needed! She has been bullied her whole life and we have her care set up. Without notice her last visit they said no longer take her age. She has cavities now and needs taken care of before her braces appt. I tried everywhere noone will take her insurance or they are booked from the overflow. It's so unethical that they won't finish her up so she can stay on track. Then that gives us 6 months to get a new dentist. This has made her life harder and mine! Some other dentists told me why can't they finish her care due to no notice and her history then you have time to get her a new dentist. It's so wrong! I can't believe they treated us like this after so many years!

This place is absolutely amazing. The entire staff is so kind and helpful. My son had to get a filling and they were very through in explaining everything to him, easing him through the process, and making sure he was as comfortable as possible. I cannot recommend this place enough. It's a two hour drive for me, but much better than my local dentists in East TN. I absolutely adore them here.

My 9 1/2 year old and I were both so nervous about his first filling. They were wonderful in answering all of my questions before hand and gave me some great ways to prepare my baby on what to expect. Both the dentist and hygienist were SO extremely gentle, they explained everything they were doing to him as they did it. The Dr made SURE he was completely numb before any injections and again before any work was done. My baby was so relieved and said he felt silly for being so nervous....he didn't feel an ounce of apprehension or pain/discomfort from start to finish.

I took my son who is one years old in there for the first time for a chipped tooth because they were the only ones open they didnt take any xrays to see if there was trauma to the tooth and I found it very unsanitary to have four clients in one room especially with covid going around. They would not shave his tooth down or fix it with resin or filling or anything. A chipped tooth can cause sensitivity issues and decay and it needed to be treated in some way. The denist there only tried to shave it once and didn't even touch his tooth and because he cried he stopped when none of the nurses there were helping me to hold him still or distract him, because he is only one and never had work done before so of course he was gonna be scared, but I was there and was giving my consent to help him because I knew he couldn't just go on with a chipped tooth like that. I found them to be very unprofessional and even tried to embarrass me in front of the other clients by making me feel like i was forcing my child when I was doing what is best for him and I was doing what a mother has to do to protect her childs teeth. They did not do their jobs at all. I will never bring my son here again. Teeth are serious business and you cant just see that kindof of damage on a childs tooth and let it go untreated just ridiculous. I will be staying with his regular dentist from now on by the way we got it shaved down by another dentist who did what they are supposed to do and not scared to do what they are trained to do. Thank you for wasting our time. If you knew me as a mother and as person who has lots of kin here and my family has been around since the beginning and started this town you would have treated us way different I am sure. But you lost our business sorry not sorry.below is my sons fixed tooth thanks to a way better practice then yours.

My child went here and I kept telling dentist they are complaining of teeth pain I asked them repeatedly when and what should we do to ease them... they said they had to wait until they were older nothing they could do at this time all they wanted to do is paint sdf on teeth and wait and see game... after waiting pain got worse then decided to get 2nd opinion from a different dentist found out they had a absessed tooth which was causing alot of the pain. To parents if you have a feeling you should get a second opinion do it don't wait my child has since been to the hospital OR and has had to have 9 teeth done total 2 of them had to have root canals I wish the dentist would of listen to me and not had me wait so long I do not recommend this office. Never mind the fact everytime I've came in its been dirty with items on the floor and ladies that work here are rude. There was only one lady nice at front desk

The the guy who owns this place is very unprofessional, he's the one who did our sons teeth.... our son is 4 and they treated him like he was a teen. His first experience was great with Dr. Ellsworth but that other guy treated my son very poorly and didn't make him feel comfortable at all!

If I could give 0 stars on my experience I would. My 6 year old was given versed for an extraction performed by Dr. Townsend. During the procedure when he administered the shot my son brought his leg up and the doctor scolded him " no no we do not kick" mind you my son never kicked. Later my son began moaning while they were shoving gauze in his mouth and he again scolded my son telling him to stop and breathe through his nose( this continued several more times). During a break I walked up to my son to see how he was doing and he was crying because he was scared of his mouth being numb and thought there was something wrong with it. I reassured him that was normal and the feeling would come back later. The doctor and his assistant came back and they never acknowledged my son crying and shaking instead continued to tell him to stop moaning and breathe through his nose. Never once did anyone explain anything to my child about what they were doing. The only communicating they did with him was when they were given him instructions or scolding him. As a former peds nurse I know the importance of reassuring kids when they are nervous during any type of procedure. My son was a 6 year old scared child but was treated like a disobedient teenager. I immediately transferred both of my children to a different dental group that same day.

Great office and location but the entire staff acts miserable as if they hate their job. Everyone but the actual dentists are short and kinda snooty to us. 2021 Update: We have continued to come here since my original post since this is just the most convenient location. Every visit has been better since. The staff has been great with my girls and make sure they feel comfortable during their visits. They communicate well and the waiting time is never bad.
