Just had my first checkup since moving to the area. Great experience, friendly and competent staff (looking at you, Allison) and in and out with very little time wasted. I appreciated the discussion about areas of concern with my teeth without any pressure to do anything until there was evidence it was necessary.

So i called them 2 weeks ago because my hubby ended up breaking half of his tooth off and the half half was still in his mouth! So i called them, told them what happen and that we needed to get himseen ASAP, so she's looking qnd pulling up his chart, looking at her schedule, then tells me ahe will call me back instead of making me hold for a few mins, here it is 2 week's later but she never called back... So professional... NOT!!!!

My husband and I have both been seen at KDC in different locations, but they got him in ASAP for an emergency here and took great care of him! We are very happy with their work in both locations and so very grateful he was seen and taken care of by the wonderful people in this office. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr. Young is excellent. No other dentist noticed that it was my gum tissue that was causing painful recession over my teeth. He fixed the problem the same day. He also helped me find a specialist who could fix the recession with a tissue graft. Plus he is very meticulous about fillings, and made certain to maintain my natural "bite". As long as I'm near Knoxville, this is the only dentist I will see.

Dr. Holland was the absolute best I highly recommend. So professional, kind, and considerate. His assistant was nice as well and did my cleaning in an astonishing timely manner.

I highly recommend Dr Holland. As a new patient, the office was quick to work me in for an exam, x-rays, and even a cleaning. I knew before going that I needed extensive dental work and the office has been very accommodating to schedule the necessary procedures. The office is clean, the entire staff is courteous and professional, and Dr. Holland is very good at putting the patients at ease.

I do not reccomend this dentist office at all. Unprofessional, inaccurate information and service regarding dental care and insurance ... no care for patient well being and not willing to work with patients regarding payment plan; do not offer. This is the worst dentist I have ever been to in Knoxville and I will not be back.

Went to have an estimate for dental implants, Dr. Young saw me. He informed me that I had an absest tooth and qouted me for the implants. He let me leave with an absest No antibiotics or anything. That should have been my first red flag. The absest tooth started giving me trouble so I called to get an antibiotic and schedule all of the work which was quoted almost 12k. After days of calling and trying with no answer, I had to be seen by another doctor somewhere else. Also, things were added to the quote that he said I would not need at my consultation. Would not recommend.

Dr. Williams at this location likes to insult the parent. There are other dentists at this location and they have done great work but I wouldn't recommend anyone seeing Dr. William's. He will not to listen to your concerns without trying to tell you that you as a parent are causing trauma to your child by asking a question to see the best course or action. After several other dentists have listened, agreed and helped. He comes along saying other dentists and this parent caused unnecessary harm. A parent should be able to show concern without being insulted. Now I will be finding a dentist office for my fam.ily

My experience here has been less than great.. After having a crown placed by Dr.Young I had lots of issues with it from the get go. After living with not being to chew with it and a dull pain and hoping it would get better I called to have it checked out. I was unable to get an appointment until a couple of days later and the tooth was shaved down. Was told my gums were bruised and it would get better after a couple of days. Unfortunately this did not happen and I tried to call to have it looked at again. Tried several times to get someone on the line to no avail and left a message but never got a call back. Called again a couple of times the next day and left another message. My call was finally returned and I was given an appointment at 4:30pm. I was on time and was taken into the exam room where I spend over 2! hours in the chair waiting for the doctor. I understand that sometimes things don't go as expected but I find it hard to believe that they were unaware that they were running late when I left my house at 4:00pm. A call to let me know Would have been nice and I wouldn't be sitting here wasting my time.. no sense of urgency that I could detect and I was even told they had the Dr. quadruple booked.. Dr. Young seems to be competent, although he missed the root canal I now need, and is friendly. I felt bad they had him so badly scheduled. This place definitely needs a new business manager that can make sure phones are answered and appointments are set correctly and with respect of the patients time..

Friday night I had a filling fall out, which long after began causing me discomfort. I immediately started looking online for an office open on Saturdays and found I was in luck when I came across Knoxville Dental Center's Hardin Valley location. I wasn't the most optimistic that I would be able to get my tooth repaired because I had changed dental insurances at the beginning of the year, and had yet to find a new practice. So I went to the office in Hardin Valley hoping for the best, and can say without any hesitation, that I received the best service I've ever experienced in my life. They initially couldn't guarantee that I would be seen because there was a full slate of appointments. I started filling out new patient info and within 15 minutes (seriously, 15 minutes), I was being escorted to a chair to receive x-rays. I learned later that Dr. Williams had arrived early that day and took care of me prior to his first procedure. This was in spite of him being a Kentucky Wildcat alum! I kidd..Sort of. The team in Hardin Valley went above and beyond taking care of a person who started the day not even being one of their patients. An hour and a half later, I walked out of there with a new filling, an initial visit appointment scheduled, and a dental practice for life. I can't thank the whole team that worked on 10/26 enough to do them the justice they deserve. What I can do, and will do moving forward, is send all the people I can to them. Thank you again, and God bless!
