Dr. Collin grew up in Moline, Illinois and attended Moline High School. After graduating, he continued his education at The University of Iowa where he obtained his undergraduate and DDS. Dr. Collin met his wife, Lauren, while in dental school and moved back to the area in 2015.
When not in the office, Dr. Collin, Lauren, and their springer-doodle, Cooper, love to spend their free time in the outdoors and with their family. The couple also enjoys all levels of sports and they regularly make the trip to Iowa City to cheer on the Hawkeyes.

Dr. Collin and his whole staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Nothing but smiles and friendly conversation during my entire visit. I got all my X-rays ,cleaning, polishing/stain removal and my impressions for retainer all done in a very timely manner. They have a great operation over at Knox Family Dental and I highly recommend you pay them a visit. Update: 9/13/22 Yet another great visit. My cleaning went great and my teeth are still in great shape from taking the advice of my dentist and hygienist.

This dental practice is wonderful. The hygienist cleans (scrapes) with ease. She had to use a jackhammer only once! Just kidding. I look forward to my dental appointments.

I went in with a broken crown and in two and a half hours I had a new crown just as good as the old one!

My first experience was great, staff was all pleasant and very helpful. I had to come back for a filling and I have never had one before so I was a little apprehensive and nervous, I feel like the dentist could've explained more about what he was doing and the procedure. Overall experience is good.

Very impressed with Dr. Petoskey and his team at Knox Family Dental! Front office staff is efficient, professional and friendly. Less than 5 minute wait time from check-in to sitting in the chair. Hygienist, Holly, was experienced, gentle and thorough. Dr. Collin was personable, confident, knowledgeable and thorough. Took the time to explain areas of concern and his suggested treatment plan. Answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. Great experience!

I am very pleased with Dr. Colin and his wonderful staff! I've had a lot of dental work done over the years, and I have very sensitive teeth. But I left the dentist office today feeling very happy, that I received compassionate and thorough care.

Made appt. for cleaning and they wouldn't do it until I had a full mouth X-ray. I am retired and have no dental coverage so I said I will get X-rays but only pay for what I made appt for which was cleaning. They could bill me for the rest but that was not acceptable. I have had 3 crowns there and given them over $4000.00. All they care about is the $. So I have chosen to go elsewhere to get my teeth cleaned.

They really did not care that I was not happy with my dentures . No insurance paid cc pulled four teeth . Save the teeth that had been broke for five years . but bottom front teeth had to be pulled only been broke for few months. My impression we not done right is what I think happened ask questions about it not they can do for me . Should have taken better care teeth if I didn't want my bottom lip stick out , was said by dentist . Then have issues with bone fragments where they pulled teeth dentist aid told him I was trying to get pain meds lol that was the last insulting remark . I didn't ask for them when they on pulled my teeth why would I ask for bone fragments I just wanted them to pull them out . But I did it on my own when I got home . 2999.00 I'm not going back

I was very nervous to go to the dentist after not having been for some time. The whole crew at Knox Family Dental were very welcoming. I felt comfortable right away and throughout the whole process. I'm so glad I choose to give them a call.
