Dr. Knights father and grandfather both practiced dentistry, and as a child, he always knew that he wanted to follow in their footsteps. As he helped out around his fathers dental office, Dr. Knights curiosity eventually grew into a passion. He attended Northwestern College, then went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Iowa. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota, and now Dr. Knight is excited to open his own practice and be a part of the Woodbury community.
Dr. Knight is skilled, knowledgeable, and strives to create a community of healthy smiles through dentistry that is compassionately delivered. His hope is that through focusing on patient comfort and quality care, he can form lasting relationships with families. When the whole family is involved in the patients dental care, strong, healthy habits are formed. Dr. Knight loves working with children and getting to see his patients thrive with happy, healthy smiles.
If youre bringing your child into our office for the first time, you can always expect friendly, personalized care. If your child has all of their primary teeth, well examine each one and keep an eye out for any issues. One of our hygienists will perform a gentle cleaning and Dr. Knight will any questions you may have about your childs oral health. Any issues with your childs oral health and development will be addressed, and youll leave our office with peace of mind knowing that your little one is happier and healthier than when you came in.

This is a great place and a rare find! Dr. Knight is knowledgeable, through and truly listens to the parents of his patients. I appreciated how Dr. Knight discussed all my options and gave me a detailed description of what to expect during a toddler tooth extraction. The procedure went smoothly and he made sure my child felt safe and comfortable. The best thing is Dr.Knight allowed me to sit next to my child the whole time. Believe it or not my toddler said on the way home "I not scared of the dentist".

Dr. Knight did a fantastic job with my nervous five year old son that needed a tooth extracted. He was calm and communicated in a way that put my son, and me, at ease. He was able to numb him up and remove the tooth without my kiddo feeling a single thing! I very highly recommend him!

Dr Knight was excellent. We had good conversation prior to surgery and we received a call in the middle to ask a question as to how we would like him to proceed. Everything went well and Moses is recovering well. He has the most beautiful smile. Thank you.

Had such a pleasent experience with all the staff and dentist. Really put my daughter's worries at ease, and had great communication throughout the procedure. Would definitely recommend this dentist to friends and family.

Great experience! We came in thinking we were going to have to cut my son's lip tie (he's a toddler and doesn't do well with pain) but the doctor told us we can wait until much later which really calmed our worries. Will definitely be going back!

Dr. Knight and his staff and especially his assistant Ker are very nice and friendly. She so efficient and friendly to the kids. Overall, my kids loves going to see them neither for restorative or preventative. They are always welcome by them and very accommodating to our schedule.

Wow! We got so lucky with this whole practice. Our son (4) chipped his tooth pretty bad in a sledding accident. He hadn't done well at the dentist previously and we found out that our current dentist wouldn't be able to pull it anyways. So we got refered to Dr. Knight. I'm so glad, everyone was kind and respectful and our son did excellent. He's even telling our 2 year old how awesome the dentist is. We signed up for their yearly package for both our boys and look forward to future visits! P.s. I MIGHT be a recovering helicopter parent and they handled all my questions well too. :-)

Dr. Knight is a boss and his staff are wonderful! Our very-shy 2-year-old had an excellent first dentist appointment. Dr. Knight provided pertinent expert advice and took time to discuss the details of our child's oral hygiene. The clinic was very neat; we were seen immediately upon arrival; all interactions felt genuine. We will definitely be back in 6 months for the next routine check-up.

Dr. Knight and his team were fantastic. They were very communicative and it was easy getting our child seen. They got him in very quickly and took time to answer all questions. They were so patient with my 5 year old during the filling and it was pain free for him. I would highly recommend them!

I have nothing to say but good things! They were kind and understanding. They took what had been a poor view of dentists, and turned it around. My son had to have some teeth removed and others capped. I didn't feel like they blamed/judged me about his cavities like our previous dentist. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

We first visited Dr. Knight because our daughter would not allow our other dentist to do an exam. He was so kind and comforting that she felt at ease and loved the experience. We are so glad we found him because 6 months later she had a dental emergency. Dr. Knight provided timely care, answered all of our questions and, again, provided so much reassurance to our daughter. We are so thankful we found Dr. Knight!

Dr. Knight did a fantastic job diagnosing my newborns tongue and lip tie. He was able to do a Frenectomy for her the same day. It completely fixed all our nursing troubles. The staff was also so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Dr.Knight exceeded our expectations and made us feel so comfortable with treating our 19 month old for cavities- our other dentist made us feel like sedation was the only option with a hospital visit at Children's & Dr.Knight thoroughly explained several options for us and treated our son without sedation. Very happy to have found a caring dentist for our son. *Great with kids!
