Instead of the traditional two-stage process, Fastbraces applied decades of research and testing to discover a technique that moves both the crown and the root of the tooth at the same time. A long and sometimes painful process, traditional orthodontics first moves the crown to the desired location before then correcting the root, or foundation, of each tooth. Using triangular brackets with an elbow design and square torqueing wire, each Fastbraces treatment gently shifts the entire tooth at once, drastically decreasing treatment time and minimizing the amount of discomfort and sensitivity. This patented technology is designed to avoid tooth extractions whenever possible and achieve long-term results using advanced short-term treatment.
Dr. Verkler graduated from the University of Florida before earning her doctorate from the University of Louisville. She remains active in the dental community as a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and West Coast District Dental Association. She is also involved with the Palm Harbor Junior Womens Club and the Junior Womens League of Clearwater/Dunedin. Dr. Verkler and her husband, Brandon, are residents of Palm Harbor and attend the Palm Harbor United Methodist Church.
Dr. Bou-Sliman (Dr. B) is a graduate of Palm Harbor University High School, right here at home. She attended the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Microbiology. Then, like Dr. Verkler and Dr. Knellinger, she attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she graduated with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree. In addition, she is a member of the American Dental Association, Palm Harbor United Methodist Church and Florida Dental Association. Dr. B and her husband, Andrew, now live in Palm Harbor. They enjoy traveling, cooking, biking, and fishing.

This has to be one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dental office. I called in for an emergency appointment in the morning. They got me in within an hour. Every person at this office goes above and beyond and everyone is so nice. I am so grateful I found this office and very appreciative of how they took such great care.

I've been going to this dental office for years. They treat you like family from the front desk to the staff. I recently chipped a tooth and they were able to get me in to see Dr. Verkler who explains everything in great detail and answers all of your questions. She does excellent dental work and treats you right. Keep up the excellent work.

First visit to establish. It was amazing! I have a complicated cardiac history and have had several dental procedures. Dr. Knellinger spent a great deal of time with me and explained in great detail some of the long term issues that I have experienced and was concernedabout. The most thorough dental exam I ever had.

Knellinger Dental Excellence is exactly that: they are superb in every way! From the first contact with the personable front desk team, through the gently thorough hygienists, the knowledgeable and resourceful financial specialists, into the hands of the superior dentists and their assistants, the patient is surrounded by unsurpassed excellence and care. There's only one problem: they will completely spoil you for any other dentists anywhere!

I was in need of a new dentist and had not seen one for sometime. The staff and office personnel are very well organized and extremely helpful. They were polite, patient and very knowledgeable. It is a busy practice and it is comforting to see that all of the patients we're happy and seem to look forward to the visit. They were a couple of children awaiting their appointment and seem to happily go inside when their names were called. The initial exam, radiology, cleaning and fluoride treatment I received was done virtually pain-free. It becomes quite clear that the central focus of this practice is listening to the patient's needs and practicing dentistry that is both comfortable and pain-free. I highly recommend Knellinger Dental Excellence for any family member whether a child or a senior. In this case this business name suits it quite well.

My husband and I recently relocated to the Gulf area and were referred to Dr Knellinger by my best friend! After being patients for over 30 years with our previous dentist, we were apprehensive but our fears were quickly alleviated! From the moment we were greeted by Tameka until signing out, the experience was enjoyable and professional. Dr K and Dr B were great! They care about their patient's well being! And the entire staff rocks....Carly my dental hygienist, Karen and Dawn my dental hygienists, and the lovely ladies at the front desk are amazing!

Went here for my first time, yes everybody was friendly. BUT money hungry is all I could think of. Im 25 and they kept pushing payment plans in my face and wouldnt stop bringing it up, you think I have the money for the thousands of dollars they think I need to pay? No? Also they made it very clear to not buy a night guard from the store and that I need theirs (approx $300)... no way jose.. my new dentist said that is perfectly fine to use the store one I bought and molded to my teeth. Much happier at my new location.

My dentist is Dr. Verkler, but I have also been fortunate enough to see Dr. Knellinger as well. Both are amazing dentists that take the time to make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. They are the perfect mixture of knowledge and clinical excellence, while still making you feel like family. I know many people are afraid to visit the dentist, but Knellinger Dental Excellence leads with compassion, care, and integrity. Highly recommend.
