Dr. David Klugman along with his father Dr. Samuel before him, have been a part of the Kenilworth community for 65 years providing the highest quality, comprehensive dentistry available. Dr. David Klugman was born and raised in Kenilworth and attended the local elementary school.
Dr. Klugman graduated Cum Laude, with honorsfrom Lafayette College in 1980 with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. He continued his post graduateeducation at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia where he was mentoredby many of the world's foremost clinicians, educators and innovators. He successfully completed his education in 1984, receiving his DMD Degree. While in his senior year at Penn Dental School, Dr. Klugman was asked to participate in the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, Morton Amsterdam Case Presentation Competition, an honor only granted toabout6 students in a class of approximately 165. Dr. Klugman was runner-up in the competition and was personallyasked by Dr. D. Walter Cohen (Dean Emeritis of the School of Dental Medicine) to publish his case presentation in the highly regarded and prestigious Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry. The article was publishedin the journallater that year.
After graduation from Penn Dental, Dr. Klugman successfully completed a comprehensive one year general practice residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. In July of 1985, he joined his father Samuel inpractice at his present location,on the Boulevard in Kenilworth, New Jersey (the very same house he grew up in).Dr. Samuel Klugman established the practice in 1947.
In 1995, Dr. Klugmanwas awardeda Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.). This distinction can only be awarded after completing extensive hours of continuing educationfollowed by the successful passing of an examination. Dr. Klugman remains committed,involved and truly dedicated to maintaining his continuing educationin order to stay abreast of thelatest techniques and ever changing technologies. It is this passion for dentistry that drives Dr. Klugman to deliver the bestcare to his patients.
Dr. Klugman has had the privilege of being invited as guest to many Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry Conferences. The Academy is a highly selective group of the verytop researchers and clinicians in the world. Dr. Klugman has gained much knowledge and learned many techniquesfrom these conferences which he has successfully incorporated them into his practice.
Dr. Klugman is an Attending Dentist on staff atThe Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He is actively involved in teaching theprogram's 12 dental residents at the hospital. He also serves as the Treasurerof the Dental Department's Executive Board and is a member of the Dental Residents Selection Committee.

Lily Lazarovics, Associates in Marketing:has been a part of our dental team for 26+ years. She began as a chairside assistant and still maintains her assistant and x-ray license, lending a hand when needed. Today,Lily is our Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator as well as receptionist. Lily is married and is the mother of 3 grown children. She is alsograndmother to5 grandchildren. Lily has recently retired from our office after many years of dedication and love to our patients.
Lucy Romero, RDH, BS:has been our hygienist since 1995. Patients appreciate her loyalty and enjoy seeing her familiar face visit aftervisit. Thorough but gentle, Lucy consistentlydelivers the best hygienetreatment possible. Lucy is married and has 2 children; her oldest in college and her youngest in high school.
Katie Re, CDA, RDA,AS: started with Dr. Klugman in 2005 working as a front desk receptionist and dental assistant.Katie was adental assistant instructor at Fortis Institutewhere she mentoredaspiring dental assistants. Katie is activelyinvolved with the Dental Assistant Association of NJ. Katie enjoys playinga key role in the practice of dentistry and educatingher patients on dental procedures as well asproper dental care.Katie is married and a mother of a young son; who is of daycare age.
JessicaLinder, CDA, RDA:has been with our office for over 5 years as our Front Desk Coordinator.Who has over 21 experience in the dental field. Jessica has a vast background in front desk and clinical skills. Shehad attended andgraduated from Berdan Institute with a certificate in dental assisting and has also maintained her radiology license. Jessica is married with 4 older children and 5 grandchildren.
IsabelRebelo, Dental Assistant:Isabel has been with our office since 2019 as our main chairsidedental assistant. Isabel has over 20 years experience in the dental field. Isabel has been a long timeresident of Kenilworthand a proud mom of 2 daughters; her oldest is a teacher at an elementary school and her youngest is in graduate school for speech pathology.
Karen Klugman: is our newest addition to our office. But, known by many as Dr. David's wife. Karen has administrative experience in the dental field; formally worked with Dr. Barry Wagenberg (Periodontist). Outside the office; Karen likes to enjoy spending time with their older children and grandchildren.
Patient came on an emergency to our office. Her dentist had placed a porcelain veneer on her front tooth which she fractured off. She had heard about our skill in treating porcelain veneers and excellent esthetic results and came to our office for treatment.Matching a single front restoration to natural treeth is the most difficult restoration to complete successfully.
