John James, DDS, and his staff at Klondike Dental Care want their patients to be comfortable with them and the care they provide. Their goals are to help patients maintain healthy and attractive smiles, ease patients fears, and make all visits to their office comfortable.
Jesus received his Dental Hygiene degree from Indiana University Northwest and just recently moved to West Lafayette in 2014. He grew up in the country and even worked at Fair Oaks Farms doing various things. Jesus is married to his beautiful wife Florencia.
Alicia graduated from Jefferson High School and Ivy Tech Community College. She then received her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certificate. Alicia has been with Klondike Dental Care since 2001. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Shelley graduated from Ivy Tech Community College. She has been working with Dr. James for over 20 years as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant and works in the front office. Shelley is married with a son and 2 daughters. She likes spending time with her family.
Lori attended Ivy Tech Community College in dental assisting. She joined the Klondike team in 1994 and works in the front office. Lori enjoys helping the patients with their dental needs. She is married and has 4 grand kids. She enjoys spending time with them.

The receptionist was extremely helpful but the doctor was extremely rude to me. Repeatedly making rude comments about my mouth and saying previous work done isn't any good. During the exam, as mentioned, he told me what I did and didn't do according to himself. The doctor also made a comment that I should just go to an orthodontist to fix my mouth multiple times. There's a way to inform patients of issues and was of improvement but this guy doesn't know them

Prices were very reasonable, this is the place to go if you don't have dental insurance! The team was professional and efficient and made sure my son's tooth fragment extraction was 100% pain-free.

Absolutely ridiculous place. The dentist James is also rude to me, should have taken the words in the comment of him being a racist into heart. Do not go to this place unless you are white.

Dr. James has excellent skills and has successfully treated me for several difficult dental problems over the years. I highly recommend him and his staff!

Stay away from this place I was a patient a few months ago and I have to say he's is a very rude dentist he stunk and he didn't care about what you have to tell about your teeth he would tell you one thing and then then around and tell you something elece. He will rob you from your pocket I don't know how he stays in business I hope people read this and don't even go near this fifly rob place very rude front deck lady and not to say very rude staff there Stay away from this dentist don't go there

I and my family of four have been patients of Klondike Dental Care for 14-15 years and have had only the greatest experience so far. Our dental health was awful to begin with. Having made numerous fillings, crowns, teeth extractions since having being 12-14 years old in 4 different countries, we certainly have a lot of comparisons to Dr. James, and he won all of them. He had remade almost all of our prior dental works (fillings, crown, bridges), and continues to make new ones. We do take our time to understand our dental problems and treatment options as well as the cost of the treatment before making decisions, and we've never been happier about our teeth. His works last the longest. He is looking for a perfection in his work, and is offering different options in treatment - one must just ask questions and try to educate themselves a little bit on a dental care. We've never encountered any problems with his staff either, every visit has been a very pleasant experience, perhaps because we've never been yelling or blaming them when there was any misunderstanding, but asked questions and respectfully discussed our issues instead - negative reviewers often don't understand their own problems and are too quick to blame service providers. I am not able to comment on a pricing in this office as we've never been to any other dentists in Indiana feeling lack of need to look for the better when you already got the best. But some friends of ours did price comparisons and most of them ended at Klondike Dental Care to our best knowledge.

Outstanding dentist. Friendly and knowledgeable. He graciously saw my mother on short notice when she lost a crown. Highly recommend to anyone. Spanish spoken as well.

Horrible general manager "Jennifer", is very argumentative and dishonest. They didn't provide the cleaning I went in for, and she was extremely difficult to talk with, particularly at a time when trying to get a long overdue cleaning. My insurance provides an exam coverage only once per year, and every new dentist charges an exam fee before doing a cleaning, so she wasted my general exam fee. Now I'm stuck letting tartar build on my teeth another year before I can go to another dentist and get the cleaning I need. And she knew it had been three years already since I'd been able to get to a dentist, and carelessly just tacked on another year! I was taking care of my mom for a long time before losing her, and had all kinds of stress that prevented me from going to a dentist. I put Mom first. So finally I get in to a dentist and she won't even do a general cleaning and didn't try to resolve the situation either. She's a got a "my way or the highway" attitude! I feel horribly resentful. This woman should not be allowed to interact with the patients. She is not concerned about you. She's very money focused, very cold, disrespectful and dismissive. So long as she brought in nearly a half grand for the visit, she doesn't care that you, the patient, got nothing out of it, and are left in a worse situation than when you went in.

I've never met a more arrogant & condescending dentist than James. You can tell he's incredibly conservative..yuck! Not to mention, the prices are a blatant rip-off!

Absolute train wreck. Dr. James is a xenophobe and a good one at time. He clearly has a chip on his shoulder towards non-Americans, non-whites & foreigners in general. Regrettably, I have spent a lot of money here..if this smug doctor gets off his high horse and actually bothers reading these reviews then feast your eyes on this: a foreigner has pumped money into your clinic, how does that feel? You're not a good person & I hope your clinic sinks under. What a disgrace..
