After graduation, he completed a two-year residency at theSt. Louis University Department of Orthodontics, where he earned his Master of Science in orthodontics. Dr. Klein remains current in all facets of the orthodontic field by taking more than 50 hours of continuing education each year.

Dr. Klein serves on the faculty at St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, where he received the Outstanding Instructor of the Year award in 2002. He has been in the exclusive practice of orthodontics in Southern Illinois since 1985.

Dr. Klein resides in Mount Vernon with his wifeDianne. They enjoy many family activities with their sonBrianand daughter-in-lawJane, including golfing, boating, and traveling. Theyalso stayvery busy loving (and babysitting) their fourgrandchildren:Eddie, Marie, Eloise, and Bridget.

Dr. Klein supports many local youth groups and Christian organizations, including the YMCA, Brennan Klein Field Foundation, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, United Way of Mount Vernon and Marion, Angels on Assignment, and United Methodist Childrens Home.

Committed to continuing his education, Dr. Brian earns more than 50 continuing education credits a year by attending conferences and workshops, including the Damon Forum, the Invisalign Summit, the SureSmile educational series, the American Association of Orthodontists conference, and the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation sessions.

Dr. Brian moved back to his hometown of Mt. Vernonafter living in St. Louis for five years tocompletedental school and his orthodontic residency. He and his wifeJanelove spending time with their four young children, Eddie, Marie,Eloise, and Bridget. They are very happy and content with their life in Southern Illinois.

Whats the most daring thing youve ever done? Went on a very roughmedical mission trip to the mountains of Honduras. However,having four kids only six years apart is pretty daring too. I'd call it a tie between those.

What is something unusual about you that people may not know? Nerd alert I secretly love pedometers and have worn one almost every day for the past decade. Way before FitBits and iWatches became popular, I was wearing a huge medical grade pedometer on my waistband just because I love to crunch the stats at the end of the day.

The administrative staff serves various roles in our office. Gina, our Mt. Vernon scheduling coordinator, has been with the practice since 1993. Rhonda, our Salem scheduling coordinator, started in 2005. Autumn, our Marion scheduling coordinator is the most recent addition to our Dream Team.They are all friendly, fast, and reliable.Their goal is to schedule your orthodontic visits with as little impact to your busy schedule as possible.

Our financial coordinator, Debbie, and our insurance coordinator, Katie, arealways looking out for your benefit. Their main goal is to make your financial experience at our office as easy and convenient as possible.

Gina has been with the practice since 1993. She is motivated to make sure our patients are comfortably and completely accommodated throughout their care at Klein Orthodontics. Her interests outside the office revolve around her children and grandchildren. She also likes vendor markets and boutiques. Gina's favorite treat is chocolate custard and loves opportunities to wear her cowboy boots.

Rhonda started with Klein Orthodontics in 2005. The things that make her laugh the most are anything her grandkids say or do. She enjoys cooking and loves to go to auctions! If given the opportunity to have coffee with a celebrity, shed be more than happy to let her granddaughter, Karley, take her place and meet Luke Bryan.

Debbie loves her family and spends most of her free time with them and her friends. Her song of choice for karaoke night is Love Shack by The B-52s, and shed love to watch Dr. Chris and Dr. Brian perform Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. The most daring thing Debbie has ever done was to goup 14,000 feet into the mountains outside of Denver, Colorado;she did it even though shes afraid of heights!

Katies heroes are Jesus, her family, and her friends. She works hard because she wants to make a difference in our patients lives and likes supporting her coworkers, too. Katies favorite karaoke song is 12 Days of Christmas, she has an awesome sense of humor, and tells the best cheesy jokes! Katie has a hidden talent of playing the saxophone.

Patty, Shelley, and Mandy are our treatment coordinators. They assist Dr. Klein and Dr. Brian in obtaining vitaldiagnostic information at the initial examination. They will walk you through each step of the enrollment process while you become part of our practice.

Because they are familiar with all aspects of the office, both clinical and administrative, they can clarify any orthodontic concerns you have and help with finding the best payment option for your individual situation. They are committed to making you feel comfortable as you become familiar with our office.

Patty does everything to the best of her ability for God and self. She is dedicated to her husband, kids, grandkids, and the rest of her family. At karaoke night, Patty will be the one singing I Want to Hold Your Hand by the Beatles. The most daring thing shes ever done was ridea 4-wheeler up a rock mountain at Land Between the Lakes on her 50th birthday: She almost fell back down!

Shelleys parents are her heroes and the ones who taught her to trust her conscience. Her kids are guaranteed to always make her laugh. Shelleys karaoke favorite is Me & Bobby McGee by Janis Joplin. While she would love to meet Jimmy Fallon for coffee, shes already met Ben Stiller, Steve Buscemi, and Garth Brooks!

Mandys kids keep her laughing and she loves sharing their jokes with our patients. She keeps us organized and is good at making sure were all ready to make our patients smile! When it comes to karaoke, Cyndi Laupers Girls Just Want to Have Fun, is usually Mandys choice. Her favorite meal is lasagna and favorite holiday is Christmas.

Our clinical assistants have over more than 40 years of combined clinical experience. They are highly skilled in performing many detailed and technical procedures to aid the doctors in moving your teeth into proper alignment. They pride themselves ontheir knowledge of orthodontics and their skills to speed your treatment along.

They remain current with the latest technologies and trainings offered by SureSmile, Invisalign, Damon Smile, and the American Association of Orthodontists, to help you achieve your beautiful, healthy smile.

Dianas family is her motivation to work hard. Her goal is to provide a comfortable life for them while setting a good exampleto live by. Her husband, kids, and work family all make her laugh on a daily basis. While Diana wont be singing at karaoke, shed love to hear Dr. Chris and Dr. Brian perform Shake It Off by Taylor Swift. Her most daring adventure was parasailing with her sister: She loved it!

Janalynn was blessed with three heroes in her life. Natalie Backstrom helped raise her to be the person she is today. Sheila Gump, her aunt, let her practically live at her house on the weekends. Finally, Vickie York is the best mother-in-law ever. Janalynn would love to have coffee with Ellen DeGeneres, the one person she considers to be funnier than herself. The most daring thing Janalynn has ever done was jumping off the cliff at Current River.

Kristi loves her family, including her parents and two sisters, as well as her nieces and nephews. They are always able to make her laugh. Kristi will be more than happy to perform Summer Nights from Grease at karaoke, and enjoys playing Uno and watching Wheel of Fortune. Last summer, Kristi went skydiving and loved it!

Breonna enjoys spending time with her family and pets. As a certified orthodontic assistant she is proud to know she is more than capable of providing effective, but also comfortable treatment techniques to her patients. Apart from her day job, Breonna has built a loyal local following at her stand-up comedy routines. Despite performing only once a month, her patented comedic catch phrase 'Now what 'd ya go and do that fer?' has trended on Twitter for over a year.

Lily loves time at home with both her biological family and her church family. In a short time she has mastered numerous clinical orthodontic applications that benefit her patients and is a team leader in digital intraoral scanning. Outside of the office Lily moonlights as an animal tattooist and accomplished cook. Her vegan meatloaf and horseraddish pie recipes have earned her a place among the culinary legends of Southern Illiniois.

Kemah strives to help her patients feel comfortable and confident during their time in treatment. She particularly enjoys helping new patients understand their orthodontic care routine. Kemah looks up to Oscar the Grouch because even he has the confidence to climb out of the can sometimes. Her go-to karaoke songs include 'Walking on Sunshine' or 'Baby Shark' depending on the day.

Tristan is the newest member of the Dream Team. Her biggest goalin life is to reach the peak of Mount Everest in record time. She loves to spend time with her friends and family with whom sheenjoys debating which came first: the chicken or the egg. Don't forget to inquire about her growing collection of antique feather dusters the next time you're in the office!

Christy comes from a long line of hard-working farmers, which she learned about when she did her genealogy. She laughs the most when her daughter Emily tries to sing Whitney Houston songs. Seeing Dr. Chris and Dr. Brian perform Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper would make her day. During an AAO trip to Hawaii, Christy and Denise took a three-hour jungle hike through the rainforest, which was one of the highlights of her trip.
