Dr. Alek Klebaner received his undergraduate education at the Universities of California at Davis and Berkeley. He continued his graduate studies at the University of California of San Francisco, School of Dentistry. Dr Klebaner has been in private practice since 1998.
Dr. Klebaner is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association as well as the San Mateo Dental Society. He is also a participant in a number of professional study clubs. Dr. Klebaner is a member of San Carlos Chamber of Commerce and is on the board of the San Carlos Rotary Club.
Dr. Klebaner and his wife Yelena have two daughters. He and his family lived in San Francisco for many years before they moved to San Carlos. In his free time Dr. Klebaner enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include traveling as well as exploring vast cultural, artistic, and culinary offerings of the Bay Area. He loves to play soccer and tennis.
Our office team consists of registered dental hygienists, registered dental assistants, and business office personnel. They are dedicated to making every visit a pleasant and comfortable experience. Clinical staff takes required continuing education courses annually to maintain and expand their level of clinical proficiency.
Our administrative staff is here to help schedule in an expedient manner and to allow you to realize the maximum benefit from your dental coverage. They are also prepared to offer financing options and payment plans for those who need them.

I was so happy to enjoy the services of Dr. Klebaner and his staff for several years, but they are no longer in network for Cigna Dental, so I must find another dentist. So disappointing.

I have been going to Dr. Klebaner for my dental needs after Dr. Stolpa retired. Dr. Klebaner, his dental hygienist, dental assistant and all of the office staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. I always look forward to my appointments.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Klebaner Alek DDS. He has always been in full disclosure on the treatments and very accomdating with emergincy requests. The staff provide multiple appointment reminders up to our arrival, For bills due, they send paper letter a few days prior to review before our appointment.

I came to doctor Klebaner after my previous dentist of 25 years who has retired. Immediately I was impressed by Dr. Klebaner's professionalism, honest opinion, desire to explain different treatment options and ability to listen and even change his ideas to satisfy the patient. Dr. Klebaner was very patient in fixing what was done by my previous doctor, thoroughly step-by-step improving my chewing ability until full satisfaction. My wife was also extremely happy with Dr. Klebaner's competency and attention to details when he installed the front tooth crown for her. His office staff is extremely efficient, friendly, understanding with desire to help. It is a great pleasure to be treated by such a unique office.

It's usually one of the high points of my day- I enjoy the staff; my hygienist is Wonderful, very good at what she does, very upbeat- Dr. Pelzar is inspiring. Full disclosure: Im not related to anyone there- they just do a very good job. ...even the building is inviting!

I have been going to Dr. Klebaner since he took over the practice from Dr. Stolpa. He and the staff are excellent. I have moved away now but I still make the 2 hour drive to come to his office for all of my dental needs. They are the best.

These people are extremely courteous and made every effort to take me in quickly, even as a new patient with a loose crown. Dr. Pelzar was thorough in his initial examination, and explained all of my options rather than make needless appointments for unnecessary dental work. This is definitely my new go-to dentist!

I actually look forward to my appointments with Dr. Klebaner and his staff. It's like visiting with and catching up with family each time I go. Of course, the dental care I get is also superb! From cleaning, to the occasional filling, and the one implant that was done, everything has been great so far. One time I chipped a tooth, and they immediately made room for me to come in.

I have been visiting Dr. Klebaner for over 10 years. What I found most beneficial is how well Dr. Klebaner is able to administer novocaine so gently that I can hardly tell when he starts. The COVID-19 safety procedures he and Dr. Pelzar have established leave one feeling entirely comfortable.
