Dr. Efner is an inquisitive life-long learner and enjoys attending continuing education courses and hands-on events to further her education and keep abreast of the developments in her profession.
A California native, Morgan began her career in Fashion. After working in the industry for some time, she realized that fashion was not her passion. She was fortunate to have a close relationship with her childhood hygienist, who played a major role in motivating Morgan and helping her realize her true passion of caring for people through their oral health.
Lori has dedicated 28 years of her career to the dental profession. Her extensive knowledge of the intricacies of dental insurance, treatment coordination and financial arrangements, can be relied upon and will bring clarity to any questions or concerns you may have. Her passion, loyalty and professionalism are vividly apparent in her daily interactions with patients and co-workers alike. Lori enjoys spending time with family, friends, her husband of 33 years and 2 adult sons. Her interests include shopping, organizing, teaching Sunday school and being close to the beach.
Carole began her dental career over 40 years ago and became a Registered Dental Assistant in 1983. Over time, she has enjoyed a broad spectrum of dental assisting and front office responsibilities. She has kept with the times and is proficient in the newest technology that has infiltrated the dental field in the recent years, resulting in an efficient, quality-oriented chairside assistant, who enjoys participating in provision of state-of-the-art dental care.
A Ventura county native, Mallory began her dental assisting career in 2008. With time, she realized she really enjoys her profession, which prompted her to continue her training to receive a certification of a Registered Dental Assistant in 2017.
She is well-versed in technology and is known to be our Team's go-to source for technical questions and creative solutions to the IT-related struggle of the moment. She is also our handy-woman, and one that can make anyone laugh with her pointy remarks.

Dr. Efner and her whole office have made every appointment enjoyable. I know, enjoyable and dental work in the same sentence but it is true. Prior to Dr. Efner's office I had some horrible dental experiences which made me very hesitant to ever go to a dental office again. After much researching I found all the positive reviews of Dr. Efner and her staff and I am so glad I decided to schedule an appointment. The office is so peaceful and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Efner took her time to meet with me and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Efner!

It was relaxed, yet professional. I experienced an ultrasound teeth cleaning for the first time and found it to be preferable. I highly recommend Serene Dentistry.

Dr. Efner is a magician! An extraction I was dreading was virtually painless and quick. Dr. Efner explained the process along the way and couldn't have been more kind. You can tell she just loves what she does. Her staff was caring and attentive as well. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who cares.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice!! Dr. Efner is truly remarkable and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She took her time and throughly explained everything to me during each step of my exam. It is obvious that she is a highly driven and educated dentist, with a huge heart. Her team, including Lori at the front desk and her hygienist Carole, went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed for my first visit, exam and cleaning. They have found a patient for life and I honestly didn't want to leave I felt so cared for!

My experience at Serene Dentistry and with Dr. Efner was without a doubt the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Efner is extremely empathetic, knowledgeable and skilled at her craft. Dr. Efner is the most gentle and caring dentist with an outstanding loving staff... . She continually checked and asked me if I was ok...Having her take out two molars today with only a slight feel of a pinch with the shot...Absolutely no pain.. When my dentist of 30yrs retired, I wasn't quite sure how the practice would go. Started thinking I would have to start considering a new dentist. But, I figured I'd give the new dentist a chance. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised. After numerous visits, now, I've made my decision to stay. DDS Klara Nazaryan Efner & her staff, at Serene Dentistry are very professional and caring. Her techniques are amazing. They are top notch! I highly recommend them.

The young Lady I had that cleaned my teeth was AMAZING!!! I give her a 10 out of 10. Not only did she do a great cleaning it didn't take long at all and most importantly she full of knowledge kept me informed of every thing she was doing or about to so.
