Dr. Neal A. Klar started practicing orthodontics in 2000. He is a graduate of the University of Miami, the Medical College of Virginias School of Dentistry, and the University of Detroit Mercy, where he received his orthodontic certificate and Master of Science degree.
He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Virginia Association of Orthodontists, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Marni Voorhees Husson began practicing orthodontics in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2000 and has been in Virginia Beach since 2002. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginias School of Dentistry and the University of Alabama, where she received her orthodontic certificate and Master of Science degree.
Dr. Voorhees Husson is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Virginia Association of Orthodontists, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Patrick Holmes is originally from upstate New York, but has called the Southeast his home since 2005. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Holmes received his dental degree from the VCU School of Dentistry in Richmond. While in dental school, his passion for orthodontics led him to pursue an orthodontic fellowship at the University of Florida followed by a three-year orthodontic residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Virginia Association of Orthodontics and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Holmes enjoys treating both pediatric and adult patients. He has published several articles, and is the current president of the Virginia Beach Dental Study Club. Dr. Holmes loves bringing the latest and greatest in orthodontic technology to his patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Holmes and his wife Dr. Ashley Holmes enjoy tennis, golf, skiing, cooking, photography, and being out on the water. Together with their sons Hudson and Harrison, as well as their two boxers, they could not be happier to call Virginia Beach their home.
Dr. Sarah Pavon Groy grew up in Virginia Beach, and is thrilled to call Tidewater home again!She graduated from Cape Henry Collegiate School and attended the College of William and Mary for her undergraduate studies. After completing her dental education at Temple University in 2011, she attended the University of Maryland, where she was chief resident. There, she specialized in orthodontics and earned her Masters degree in Biomedical Science. She is trained in the latest orthodontic techniques including temporary anchorage devices, laser dentistry, and Invisalign. Dr. Sarah is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Sarah and her husband Dr. Dave Groy have threebeautiful children under the age of 5 who keep them very busy at home.They love living near the beach and can be found most weekends with their family somewhere by the water.

My daughter had her initial consultation today, and I was highly impressed with Klar Voorhees Holmes. From entering the reception area to meeting with Becca and Dr. Neal, the process was efficient and painless. They answered all my questions, and even scheduled my daughter around her school and my work schedule. They gave me all of the information I needed based on our needs. So thankful to Konikoff for referring us to this outstanding office. We look forward to working with you to give my daughter a beautiful smile!

I scheduled an appointment to meet with Dr. Holmes for a braces consultation. I was referred to her by my dentist Dr. Patil at Hanbury dental (I love them btw). The appointment was set on March 31st for April 29th. It was later than I wanted it to be, but since Dr. Patil referred me, I figured it would be worth the wait. I was wrong. I didn't even get the chance to meet Dr.Holmes. On April 29th, a situation happened right before I needed to leave to get to my appointment, so I decided to give Dr. Holmes's office a call and let them know I was on the way, but I'll be 10 minutes late. Something happened that I needed to take care of. They told me I would have to reschedule, after waiting for a month!!! The next available appointment was May 26. If 10 minutes late can't be accommodated after waiting a month, I will go somewhere more understanding of situations. I understand that running late is not good and can mess things up, but sometimes life happens, and there is nothing we can do about it.

Today's the day my daughter gets braces. We were greeted and properly attended to by a beautiful receptionist by the name of CHANTY. My daughter's nerves were put at else by her demeanor. Thank you for your professionalism as always.

My oldest daughter just got her braces off today. We are so grateful for the staff at KVO. Dr. Holmes is an exceptional doctor with attention to detail. I have 2 more children and I will not hesitate to bring them back to see Dr. Holmes. Everyone we have encountered has truly been awesome.

All of our kids have had orthodonture here and the entire office is wonderful. They are kind, professional, and capable. Dr. Patrick is great, and Stacy, and Brandy are incredible, as are ALL of the ladies!

I had a wonderful experience at Klar Voorhees Orthodontics. The check-in and waiting room is always efficient with <5mins wait time. The techs are genuine; they make you feel like a friend. The practice keeps detailed notes in the event scheduling requires you to see another orthodontist. Dr. Patrick is AMAZING. He worked to get my uppers removed before my wedding! I love my new smile--it's given me more confidence. Highly recommend for anyone in need of orthodontia.

I went to this orthodontist to get my crooked teeth fixed and I must say, I am very impressed with this place. From start to finish they had a very professional office where everything is recorded accurately and precisely, you can tell they have been doing it for a while! I am also happy with the outcome and I hope to never have to return again for a full orthodontic treatment, but if I do this would be the place I would go to.
