Went in for a noon appointment on July 14, receptionist was very rude- there was an older gentleman waiting at the front for check in, him and I were waiting for 15 minutes for the lady to check us in. The other receptionist went on lunch even though there was a line to check in and the other receptionist was not acknowledging us. The working receptionist ignored both of us, did not greet us or ask us to wait. This was a very older man with a walker who should have been sitting down to wait. The lady waiting in a seat said he had already been standing there for the 10 minutes she'd been waiting with no one greeting him even prior to my arrival. When i finally spoke up 15 minutes into what shouldve been my appointment she told the man he was already checked in which she failed to bring up the entire time he was obviously waiting for someone to speak to him. Not sure if it was because he was old or because he was black but it was completely unacceptable from a business. Even when the dentist, though not her job,(not Robert Kitto) came out she looked at both of us but did not tell the receptionist to address us or ask. I had called and asked to be rescheduled to which the receptionist asked if i wanted to cancel and i said no id like to be rescheduled and she told me i would be called if there was an opening. I showed up at my noon appointment since i was not called, and when i brought this up the receptionist said oh she thought i cancelled even though we confirmed i was not canceling but rescheduling, if there was confusion she should have clarified i was not coming in that day. When checking in 20 minutes into my appointment time she told me my appointment was an hour later than scheduled even though i had a confirmed 12 pm appointment. Completely unprofessional and have still not been called back over 2 weeks later. I have never had a problem with Dr. Robert Kitto or my dental assistant. The front desk is the face of the business and I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism.

I found Dr Robert Kitto and staff were more than willing to help me. Dr. Kitto was engaging, explained everything, and extremely nice. He really made me feel at ease.

After getting the running around for weeks from other dentists, the office of Robert Kitto DDS was quick to recognize an urgent situation, get my father in as well as get him a consult with a specialist the very next day. It's so very appreciated.

In my opinion Dr Kitto is the best Dentist in Santa Maria, Tried other dentist before and I feel Dr Kitto is the bar standard all dentist should follow.

After getting the running around for weeks from other dentists, the office of Robert Kitto DDS was quick to recognize an urgent situation, get my father in as well as get him a consult with a specialist the very next day. It's so very appreciated.

Really nice staff. The dentist was great also. I brought my son in to have his tooth looked at. I didnt use my insurance and just paid cash. Their prices for visits were really reasonable. I called lots of different dentists locations to see if I could get my son in while out of my hole state on a family visit and got a lot of run around and their reviews were awful. I'm glad, I came in. They were good with my son. Definitely reccomend. Thanks again. I will definitely come back if I am ever in the area again.

This is such an awesome, caring, loving, organized, accommodating office. You can tell that everyone feels like family working there, and patients are neighbors that come to visit. Just love them! And loved how they took the fear of dental pain from my husband with dental PTSD.
