Dr. Chuanwen (Kevin) Sun D.M.D., M.S. Dr. Sun earned his doctoral degree in Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. He also received a M.S. in Oral Biology at UNC School of Dentistry. He was the Director at Central Carolina Dental Center, and has practiced General and Restorative Dentistry in Sanford and the Raleigh/Durham area in the past years. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the North Carolina Dental Society. At his spare time, Dr. Sun likes watching NBA Basketball, listening to music and traveling.

I appreciate Dr. Sun, he at least saved one of my teeth. In the past, I have really disliked going to the dentist, he put me at ease as he thoroughly explained patiently each of my bad tooth and made me comfortable at my first visit. I would highly recommend Dr Sun a professional dentist.

I use to go there for teeth cleaning and teeth extraction, but I stopped because one time he make me sign a document stating that I should pay $300, and until NOW I don't know the $300 that I paid was for what??? and when I called them about it they never refund me!!

My husband and I have been going to this office for about 5 years. Dr. Sun is by far the best dentist we've ever experienced. He is always friendly and happy to see us. I personally struggle with TMJ which causes me a lot of anxiety with dental visits, but Dr. Sun works so proficiently that it makes my experience so much more comfortable. He always states his professional recommendations on your dental care, but he never pushes you which is so refreshing in the dental world. We will miss our visits here as we had to move out of state.

I had very nice cavity filling experience here. Dr. Sun, who finished his PhD at Haward University, is a very careful doctor with superb medical skills. Cost here can be covered by the dental insurance for PhD students at Duke.

I have been a patient for 4 years and had always had an excellent experience. I came in with borderline gum disease and the team was able to get my team back to health as well as give me the guidance and advice to prevent that from happening again. I would highly recommend this Dentistry

I've had a lot of dental problems throughout my life, which means that I've also tried a lot of dentists. Dr. Sun is undoubtedly the best one I've ever worked with. He and his entire team are passionate about their work and they do it very well. He even managed to fix some bad cavity fillings I received at a different practice. I genuinely recommend coming here.

I did wisdom teeth extraction a week ago. Dr. Chuanwen Sun is very experienced and professional. It only took about 10 minutes to remove 4 wisdom teeth. I didn't feel any pain and take any ibuprofen from the second day. Unbelievable and amazing. And I have to say the treatment is relatively cheap here. I don't have any insurance. But the money I spent here is less than the money my friend spent in other dental clinic with insurance. Strongly recommend this place!
