A southern California native, Dr. Kitamura earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. Hes also completed basic and advanced training at the Biolase training facility and is certified by the World Clinic Laser Institute as a laser dentist. Before becoming the owner of Kitamura Dental Clinic in 2016, he was a patient of the practice. Dr. Kitamura also completed the UCLA Dental Implant Continuum mini-residency program at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kitamura is passionate about healthcare and making a difference in the lives of his patients. Its for these reasons he chose to pursue dentistry. Nothing compares to the feeling of alleviating someones oral pain and playing a key role in building up their confidence. The best part is hearing how thankful a patient is after youve helped them, he says. When they stop hiding their smile, you know your work has made a real difference. As your dental partner, Dr. Kitamura will do whats best for the long-term health of your smile and make treatment recommendations based on preserving its longevity and function.
When Dr. Kitamura isnt helping patients get fantastic smiles, you can find him playing basketball, hiking, and spending quality time with his wife and kids. In addition, he participates in the fall festival at his former high school and does church outreach. He doesnt have any pets (at the moment) but is looking for the right pup to bring home. Dr. Kitamura was a childhood actor, albeit a short-lived career. Ask him about his one-line performance during your next visit!

Like Dr. Kitamura, Christine is passionate about helping you achieve the healthy, clean mouth that leads to a better quality of life. As a dental assistant, Christines main concern is your comfort and satisfaction with every aspect of your care whether she is explaining a treatment, answering any questions you may have, or simply getting to know about you and your life. That she loves people is apparent from the moment you meet her and she just loves to stay in touch and catch up when she sees you.
Christine and her husband Charlie have been married since 2005 and have two daughters who are quickly growing up into lovely young ladies. When shes not caring for our family of patients, Christine enjoys hanging out with family and friends and caring for the family dog, Guinness.

So I had an appointment today, the first thing the receptionist told me was that i had a $60 dollar balance as i was a no show for two times, the first time i had called in to cancel appointment prior to my appointment date, 2nd time they had rescheduled me without my consent and said that they had text me. I kindly tried to explain to the receptionist but she kept cutting me off and raising her voice at me and told me that i can leave if I didn't like it. I waited for the Doctor to let him know that i did not appreciate the way she came at me and all the doctor told me was OK no sorry no nothing, Mind you i had asked that receptionist if i can go in 10 lates today and she said absolutely not. I waited over 15 mins for the doctor as he was with another patient. I also told him that and he didn't even care he gave me An Ok I don't care face. So frustrated and angry on the outcome. Please DO NOT COME HERE. It breaks my heart that people can be so mean and foolish. I will report this in any source i can so anyone like myself can avoid this situation these people put me through.

We found Dr K after our pediatric dentist "kicked us out" because my kids turned 18. Dr K and Christine are the best. They care about your needs and They listen to your issues and always come up with the best possible plan for you. Dr. K is gentle and always asks if I'm ok when he's working on my teeth. I would highly recommend Kitamura Dental Clinic!

Love my visits here at Dr.Kitamura office. Very professional office. The young lady at the reception, Christine is very efficient and helpful. She's very flexible with scheduling. I never liked going to the dentist office but since coming here Dr.Kitamura has found a way to change my perspective on dentist visits. He's really nice and gentle with those loud annoying tools. Always a professional, friendly environment. I've been a patient at this office for 20 years and my kids come here as well. My daughter has never been scared of her dental visits and feels comfortable enough to sit in the chair by herself. I definitely would recommend this place.

I was a new patient, Dr. Kitamura and Christine was so professional. Dr. Kitamura was knowledgeable and very informative. The entire office was very up-to-date with modern equipment and it has such a pleasant environment. Dr. Kitamura really loves what he does. I had a great experience and will be coming back regularly. One of the best!!
