Dr. Linn is a third generation orthodontist who has practiced in Whittier since 1990. His father Allen H. Linn and grandfather Jesse A. Linn were both practicing orthodontic specialists like Dr. Linn and like Dr. Linn all three have been instructors in the Graduate Orthodontic Department at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Jesse A. graduated from the Angle School of Orthodontia in Pasadena, CA and was one of Edward E. Angles (considered by many as the founder of the orthodontic specialty) first graduates. Jesse A. Linn was one of the first to practice the specialty of orthodontia in Southern California. His son Allen H. Linn graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 1952. Allen H. studied the orthodontic specialty under the direction of his father Jesse A. Linn (in a preceptorship program). Dr. Kirk Linn graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 1988 and was accepted into the Graduate Orthodontic Residency at USC that same year. Dr. Linn completed his orthodontic residency in 1990 graduating with an advanced degree in the specialty of Orthodontics and a Masters in Craniofacial Biology and Development.

We brought our son here before Covid. Paid a large amount to have records done and braces, closed for months during Covid, and yet still expected payment. We paid off braces ahead of time then moved. I called with a ton of notice with move to ask what we do. Would not return our call. My husband and I have now called over 40 times within the year left messages with the girls and on voicemails. Tells us he is going to call back and yet here we are without one phone call. Over 6,000 paid for not even close to full work done and now having to basically start completely over and pay for an entire set of braces after my som has now sat for an entire year without a call back and now 3 years with braces with one years worth of work. This is absolutely wrong! I will be making sure this stays on here and seeking legal help if need be. Thank God I kept all my call records of dates times, and who I spoke to.. shameful to do to a child in high school!

Very friendly staff. Had great experience with all my 3 kids. Appointments are always on time, and they are always helpful in between appointments when needed. I would refer them to all my family and friends!

Dr.Linn and his staff are wonderful! I visited 3 other orthodontists in the Whittier area for consultations but we felt Dr.Linn was the best choice for our daughter because of his expertise and friendly manner. He explained treatment very clearly and took plenty of time with us. We were referred by a family friend who has an excellent smile thanks to Dr.Linn.

I brought my son to Dr Linn for braces. We have had a wonderful experience ! Dr Linn is amazing ! He answers all of my questions and concerns anytime I come in for my sons appointments .The staff is very nice and attentive !My sons teeth look perfect and now my daughter will be getting her braces with Dr Linn . I Recommend Dr Linn to anyone that would like perfect teeth!

Dr.Linn and his Dental Technicians were always friendly and patient. Their office is exceptionally clean and I have always felt comfortable. They also have great music playing. The best part of all is my teeth look great. I'm very happy and I will highly recommend Dr. Linn to anyone who is looking to get braces.

Dr. Linn did a phenomenal job as my orthodontist. He was able to fix my overbite in the projected time of 2 years. He has a fun sense of humor and is always ready for a friendly banter with any UCLA bruin (he's a USC alum). Also, his assistant Desiree is super nice. Now, I have a beautiful smile that I have no problem showing off on Instagram.

Dr. Linn did a fabulous job as my daughter's orthodontist. He is a patient doctor that is very understanding especially with young people and is professional. The office visits were always successful and his staff are kind and helpful. My daughter had a great and very positive experience at Dr. Linn's and I would highly recommend him for orthodontic needs. He knows the fast route to accomplishing what the patient needs. Do your diligence and wear your elastics because it will greatly reduce the time needed in straightening your teeth. He did a fantastic job of helping my daughter in achieving her beautiful smile.

For years I have gotten the best compliments on my smile, and I only have Dr Linn to thank for that. I was a patient of his over 20 years ago and had nothing but the best experience. Dr Linn and his staff have always been the kindest, most patient, and professional I've been with. I had such a great experience that there was no other orthodontist I considered to bring my daughter to. I would recommend him over and over again.

Very friendly staff! Dr. Linn is very thorough in explaining progress with my daughters braces. One weekend, a bracket broke and he was able to meet us that afternoon to fix it. I highly recommend this office.
