Dr. Mousavi completed his undergraduate education at The University of Maryland where he earned a bachelor's degree in Biology in 1990. He then continued his education at Howard University in Washington D.C. where he earned his DDS degree in 1994. Dr. Mousavi has been practicing dentistry for 20 years and holds active dental licenses in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Dr. Mousavi remains committed to maintaining a practice on the leading edge of technology in the ever evolving field of dentistry. With this in mind, Dr. Mousavi engages in a a rigorous schedule of continuing education, and holds membership in such organizations as the American Dental Association, Maryland Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, Southern Maryland Dental Society and WIDS.

Love Dr. Mousavi for always taking such good care of my teeth without making making me spend extra money for work not needed. His staff is very courteous and friendly and have been there for a long time. My son goes there too and we really recommend Dr. Mousavi fully.

I have been seeing Dr Mousavi for almost a decade since moving to Maryland. The practice is smaller and well run, and the staff has always been great. One thing I really like is that you don't feel like you are being upsold or that the dentist is "finding" things to fix, which I've definitely experienced elsewhere. One time a few years ago, they pointed out a new cavity and I had it filled. Afterwards, I noticed that the mild headaches I had been having for a few months were gone (and stayed gone). I had thought they were tension headaches from work, but they must have been the cavity and I didn''t realize. I am happy to recommend this practice.

I've been seeing Dr. Mousavi for years and years, too many to count, and he and his wonderful staff are without question the best dentist office I have ever had in my life. Everyone is so friendly and warm, the perfect service for your entire family. EDIT June 2020: I had an appointment while the coronavirus situation was still ongoing and the office was very conscientious about the situation, took my temperature, were considerate, etc. The dentist and the assistants always have worn masks in the examination room anyway so they were already ahead of the game!

My daughter sent me to this dentist after I got a quote on some work needed by another that was over $1500. After meeting with the dentist here- he assured me that I did not actually need the work and that it was unnecessary painful and expensive procedure. I appreciate them saving me all that money!

The overall experience at Kingsview Dental is A1. Their attention to you, as a patient, gives the practice a very " boutique" atmosphere. From now on, I won't allow even a toothbrush to touch my teeth, without the approval of Dr. Mousavi and his expert staff!

I have been a patient at Kingsview Dental since 2002. Dr. Musavi and his staff are wonderful. I am always greeted with a smile and given the best service. It always amazes that Dr. Musavi himself does most of my cleanings. He is very thoughtful and does a fantastic job. I recently had a toothache and Dr. Musavi was able to squeeze me in right away. His team took x-rays and determined the problem quickly. He was able to diagnose the problem and take immediate steps to resolve the issue. I would recommend Dr. Musavi and his team to anyone looking for a qualified dental practice that is top notch and able to take wonderful care of you.

years ago I had a dentist who irreparably damaged my teeth. For years I was terrified to go the dentist. The Kingsview dental team changes all that. Dr Mousavi was patient and understood my fear and helped over come my my fear while preparing a custom dental plan to get my teeth health again. They do everything possible to make sure you have a smooth and stress free visit. Scheduling appointments are a breeze and they can usually get you in the same week depending on when you call. If you are looking for a dentist where you are not just another patient but a valued patient I can highly recommend Kingsview dental.

My whole family has gone to this dentist for many years now. I have had many dentists in the past that have not measured up to the level of care I receiver here. They do not over book so your wait times are minimal, The staff super friendly, and you are not in the chair for excruciating lengths of time. While I feel that they are quick with their cleaning and procedures, I never feel like they are rushed or not doing a great job. I highly recommend this practice and do so often!
