At our office, we highlight the importance of preventative dental care which includes proper oral hygiene, a wholesome diet, and regular visits to the dentist. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry along with the American Academy of Pediatrics both recommend that children be first seen by a dentist by 12 months of age. We recommend beginning semi-annual visits by age three.

This visit includes an interactive presentation on all aspects of good oral health, including proper brushing and flossing techniques and the benefits of a healthy diet. We talk about what we do each day and how and why we take x-rays.
