As a practicing orthodontist, Dr. Bryan has been awarded many honors; including being named a Diplomate of the American Board or Orthodontics and being named a Top Dentist by Pittsburgh Magazine for several years running. In November 2008 he was selected by Invisalign to present a case at their annual summit. Dr. Bryan presented to nearly 1,000 of his peers from across the country and received high complements on both his case and his presenting. Perhaps the most significant honor was the Lifetime achievement award he was given by Align Technologies in 2014 for his work with Invisalign.
In 2014, Dr. Bryan also began instructing at Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics. As an instructor he enjoys bringing his techniques and love of new technology to the residents he works with.
Dr. Bryan is proud to work alongside his father and looks forward to expanding the King Orthodontics family to the next generation and continuing the tradition of quality care that has become synonymous with King Orthodontics.
In 2007, King Orthodontics was recognized as the only Elite Provider of Invisalign in the Greater Pittsburgh area. In fact, King Orthodontics is the only Top 1% provider of Invisalign in Western Pennsylvania.
Dr. King grew up in Wexford and earned his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1972. While at dental school, he won the prestigious International College of Dentists Award, which is presented annually to a dental student who exhibits outstanding clinical excellence. He received his Masters of Science in Orthodontics in 1974, also from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Since 1976, he has practiced Orthodontics exclusively in the Wexford area.
Dr. King is a member of many orthodontic societies and regularly offers his expertise to dentists in and around the Pittsburgh area on the treatment of complex cases. He has been an active community and church member during the last 30 years. He and his wife, Lorraine, have two sons: Bryan, who joined King Orthodontics in 2006 and Robert, a General Dentist who also practices in the Pittsburgh area.
Dr. King believes that his patients deserve a warm, comfortable and caring experience at King Orthodontics. He and his team love to help their patients gain confidence by making sure they get the wonderful, healthy smile that they deserve.
Dr. Monica Hummel grew up in Central Pennsylvania before moving to Pittsburgh after meeting her husband Michael, a Pittsburgh native. After completing a Masters degree in Chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA, she earned her DMD from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, her passion for working with children led her into the field of orthodontics.
Dr. Hummel completed her Orthodontic residency at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where she studied under Dr. Bryan. During her time there, she attained a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

If you're reading the reviews to see whether or not you should go to King Orthodontics, do yourself a favor and go to King Orthodontics. I cannot recommend them enough. I was seen at their Wexford location after moving for school. I was in the middle of treatment when I transferred into Dr. King's office. They made my transfer as seamless as possible. I can write a novel on how excellent their office staff is as well. They were all transparent and kind from beginning to end. They worked with me through a difficult treatment and did an outstanding job. Dr. King and Denise were extremely patient and careful with my teeth as my appointments weren't trivial. Rachel is also amazing! They made me feel so comfortable as a patient (even through COVID-19 when their office was allowed to open). During my time here, I was in braces and then in Invisalign due to the complexity of my treatment. All in all, go to King Orthodontics for your braces and Invisalign needs.

I began my journey with Dr. King in January 2020 and I am so happy with the results from my Invisalign! Dr. King and his entire staff are professional, kind and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend their practice! I was treated at the Wexford location!

Every time I walk in the office I'm greeted with kindness and positivity from the staff, they are awesome. Dr Bryan is gentle while working in my mouth. He always has a smile and takes time to get to know you. I'm so happy with service provided. Guess that's why Dr Bryan is the best in Pittsburg!!

King ortho is amazing, highly recommend for Invisalign or retainer work. Brea is the best, she's nice, funny and does great work. Her glasses are super cute too. She always gets me out quickly so I can come between meetings if need be.

Dr.King is SUCH an amazing man and Orthodontist he really is Compassionate about what he does and cares for the concerns of our wants and goals for our teeth ! I highly Recommend Him as your orthodontist. Also his dental assistants were great and professional. I am a picky person and I am very Particular but overall I was very well pleased with service and care I received here . I couldn't finish my treatment here and he Reimbursed me the money I spent which he didn't have to! God bless His soul

I had such a wonderful experience working with King Orthodontics. They were able to work through many issues that I had that came up involving crowns which through a curve ball in the invisalign process. The whole team did a great job. Meredith did an amazing job and was AWESOME!!!

King Orthodontics is extremely professional. My older two children have had braces and my youngest is getting braces soon. I checked out other orthodontists in the area before going to King, and along with our dentist, decided that King is the very best! Never have to wait long for appointments, very friendly staff and awesome and knowledgeable Orthodontists.

If you want an orthodontist that cares about you, go here. A lot of places are primarily concerned with making money off of you, and don't truly care about performing their absolute best work, but not here. They will do everything they can to get you the results you want!
