Dr. Wesley E. King is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. King was then commissioned an Officer in the U.S. Army. As an Army dentist, Dr. King completed three years of active duty in Brooklyn, New York. He then served in the Army Reserves for five years and obtained the rank of Major. Dr. King specialized in orthodontics at Temple University in Philadelphia. After completing his training, he moved to the Triangle to practice orthodontics.
Dr. King attends numerous continuing education courses each year to expand his knowledge and to ensure that the quality of care delivered in our practice is state-of-the-art. Dr. King is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, National Dental Association, American Dental Association, Durham - Orange Dental Society, Old North State Dental Society and The Durham Academy of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.
