Dr. William G. King, III began his dental career at an early age assisting for his father, and grandfather. Dr. King learned firsthand the type of patient focused approach he wanted to bring to his own practice. Dr. King grew up in Andalusia, AL and graduated from Auburn University in 2000. He then went on to complete his D.M.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. King completed a general practice residency at the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2005.
Dr. King currently lives in Auburn with his wife, Anna, and their two children, Baylin and William G. King, IV. Their family is completed by their two dogs, Remi and Trudy. When away from the office Dr. King serves as Treasurer of Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni Board, Kiwanis Club, and a member of Auburn United Methodist Church. His hobbies include reading, bird hunting and saltwater fishing.
Haley is from Opelika, Alabama. She graduated Dental Hygiene school in 2013. Haley lives in Auburn with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending summers at the lake and traveling with her family.
Sherry is from Opelika, Alabama. She graduated from hygiene school in 2003 and has been a hygienist at Dr King's since 2008. Sherry lives in Auburn with her husband and two sons. She enjoys going to the lake with her family.
Kristi is from Phenix City, Alabama. She has 29 years in the dental field. Kristi lives in Smith Station with her husband and son Gray. Gray was born with Down Syndrome and Kristi spends a lot of time advocating for her son and the many other children affected by this disorder. When she has down time, Kristi enjoys cooking and gardening.
Deven is from Opelika, Alabama. She has ten years of experience as a Dental Assistant. Deven and her husband have two beautiful children. She enjoys anything outdoors, Alabama football and spending time with her family. Deven is currently in Dental Hygiene school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist!

Dr King, Kristi & staff are PHENOMENAL! I am such a baby when it comes to teeth and blood and have panic attacks about going to the dentist but my first trip took NO time, was put at ease & actually had a good time!!

I have had a horrible toothache for some time now. I finally plucked up the courage to phone the dentist. Dr Kings office made me an appointment the very next day. They were on time and very understanding- I didn't feel judged because I'd left it so long and my tooth was a mess. They extracted the tooth and within 30 mins of arriving I was pain free. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

I have been a patient with Dr. King since he came to Auburn. He has been the best dentist I've had and I would recommend going to his office for the service he and his dental staff gives; however, the front desk staff is questionable. They need customers service training, they made me think about going somewhere else for dental care.

I knew after speaking to the staff member that answered the phone that going to kings denistry was a huge mistake!!! There was a tornado watch and warning on the day of my appointment and I called to reschedule because I was in the middle of the tornado radar and it was headed in my direction.The watch was going on for 2 hours but the receptionist told me I couldn't be I scheduled for another appointment and I would have to do a walk in on the same I wanted to come.I had to wait 6 days to get seen even though my gums are bleeding and are in pain.when I got there the dentist told me he didn't see anything thing with mouth and it looked healthy. I insisted that the re-evaluate my gums because I know a cavity when I have one and gums shouldn't bleed when you rub them or feel sore.The dentist puts his fingers in my ears and tell me to open my jaw.The dentist gives me toothpaste and toothbrush that I can buy from the Walmart.He also gives me a useless mouthwash that I can get free from my doctor .I speak back with the receptionist and she tries to charge me $167 which is double the quoted price even tho I had my X-rays and bite wings took in feb.The receptionist starts yelling when I told her how ridiculous the price was.The dentist tells her to fix the price.As I'm leaving out the door a customer asks me what's wrong so I tell him.The receptionist starts yelling again but louder saying he's telling another customer bad things about the service.She really needs to go get evaluated because she obviously has personal and mental issues.Now I have to spend more so a dentist can actually fix the problem.

My daughter is an out of state student at Auburn and we were so happy to find Dr King and have a local dentist for a couple of routine visits. However we were absolutely blown away when he met us after hours on a game day for a dental emergency. We will forever be grateful! He's the real deal!

After going to King family dentistry I don't think I'll ever go to another dentist's office. Dr King is very knowledgeable, patient, and affordable. His staff is very helpful. Convenient parking and a very VERY CLEAN environment. You won't be disappointed!

Damaged my wife's jaw during a tooth removal procedure and then denied any wrong doing. Then threaten a nurse who said she did see something wrong with my wife's jaw. Be careful with king's dentistry. Until this event king was the best. Now I would not deal with him if someone offer to pay me to go there. Sad.
