For Patients with dental insurance: King Endodontics is an OUT-OF-NETWORK provider for all dental insurance plans. Patients should not expect their insurance to cover the full cost of treatment. A co-pay will be estimated and collected at the time of treatment. You will be billed for any balance remaining on your account after your insurance benefits have been applied. Once you account has been paid in full by your co-pay and insurance, any overpayments will be promptly refunded directly to you.
Endodontics, or root canal therapy, is one of the specialties currently recognized by the American Dental Association. Our practice has been serving the needs of the Northwest Chicago area for over 25 years.
Endodontist Dr. Brett E. Gilbert along with our experienced endodontic staff are committed to providing the highest standard of professional care in a pleasant and comfortable environment. We hope that this site will provide you with the answers to many of your questions and concerns.
Dr. Gilbert graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2001 and then completed his postgraduate training in Endodontics from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2003. He is currently a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Illinois-Chicago, College of Dentistry and on staff atPresenceResurrection Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Gilbert is board certified, a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
He lectures nationally and internationally on clinical Endodontics and contributes online continuing education by webinar on multiple platforms. He also has online continuing education courses on Dentaltown. He conducts a two-day hands on course at his office location in Niles, Il.

I am so grateful to have Dr. Brett Gilbert as my endodontist!!! I have been a patient of his for about 10 years and thanks to him have had"pain free" root canals every time. Dr. Gilbert is the consumate professional and is truly dedicated to his patients. The minute I sit in his chair I know I am in the best of hands. He is extremely kind, reassuring, upbeat and there for all his patients alwaya! His entire staff from the reception desk, assistants and surgical assistants, and check out are just like him. Office staff did what they could to find me an appointment that worked with my busy schedule. Dr. Gilbert was kind and knew his stuff. He fit me in the same day as my consultation because I was in so much pain. I have had a few root canals done by my dentist, who I love, but needed a specialist this time. Never have I had a root canal done so quickly and Dr. Gilbert made sure I didn't feel a thing during the process. The procedure is pricey but this doctor knows what he is doing and has the personality to go with it :)

Dr. Gilbert was great, kept you updated throughout the process. No pain, very efficient procedure and a very professional staff. Not that I hope I need their services again soon, but if I do I would gladly return. Highly recommended.

One of the BEST experiences I have ever had at any dental establishment. Truly! Superb knowledge, service, and patient communication. I had a root canal with Dr. Gilbert. While I wouldn't choose doing that over going to Disney World, it went by fast and was completely stress-free and painless. Highly recommend!

Once inside the office I was wowed with a great staff and a high tech very modernized treatment facility. Dr. Gilbert was awesome explaining every step of the way though my root canal procedure. He took great care with my inflamed nerve to make adjustments for a pain free experience.

I was very nervous knowing I had to have a re-treatment on a root canal which was previously done by a different dentist. As a child I had a traumatic experience at the dentist and ever since then I have pretty awful dental anxiety. I felt no pain during or after. The staff is very friendly and they made the experience as best as possible. I will be recommending Dr. Gilbert to all of my friends and family. Hopefully I never need another root canal but if I do I will go back to Dr. Gilbert!

I had an excellent experience with Dr Brett Gilbert. He is very thorough and patient in explaining the procedure. The follow-up appointments are reassuring that the best possible approach to save a tooth is working. He is very concerned about the individual patient. He is the best endo dentist!

This.place is great! Everybody is friendly and kind. If it was possible to enjoy a dental experience, this would be it. The music is good, the doctor explained every step during the procedure. He even gave me sunglasses so the light wouldn't bother my eyes. A five star operation for sure.
