Dr. David King is a gentle, caring Huntsville dentist who prides himself in keeping current with the most recent advances in dentistry and equipment. He graduated cum laude with a bachelors degree in biology from Oakwood University, here in Huntsville, AL. After graduation, Dr. King attended the University of Louisville, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD).
Dr. King continues to educate himself in order to provide the best care to his patients. He believes you never stop learning, which is why he completes many hours of continuing education in dentistry each year. He has received certificates of advanced training from the prestigious Engel Institute and Dental Implant seminars which both focus on implant surgeries. He has also received advanced endodontic (root canal), oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry training from some of the top institutions in the country.
Dr. King loves spending time with his wife Meghan and two kids, David Tyler and Mila. He also enjoys reading, playing sports, and playing piano. He is an active member of the First SDA Church here in Huntsville.

I was completely lost when my dentist of over 20 years retired. She referred me to King Dental and I absolutely love them. Wearing braces makes dental cleanings difficult, but not with them. I feel like I have a new mouth after each visit. I purchased a toothbrush from them that makes my teeth feel like they have been professionally cleaned with each use. They have a comfortable atmosphere that eliminates any anxiety from dental visits and the people are great!

I love when I go in here the staff from the time you walk in til you get to the back til you check out it's nothing but talk laughter and fun. No need to worry about anything any questions the staff can always answer and Dr.King is always amazing I never met such a wonderful staff in one facility

Their excellent customer service starts when you call them and continues once you get there. My wait wasn't long either. The dentist explained why my case is beyond what the office does. Truthfully I was disappointed that I couldn't be a patient but respect their integrity and recommendation. Every customer interaction is 4 star.

Got a replacement crown same day. Great bedside manner. As a bonus it fixed a gap that food was always getting stuck in. Could eat solid food same day!

I am not a fan of going to the see the dentist. Years ago I had a very negative experience with another office. I went in with no pain but wanted a check up. I left with $10,000 less in my pocket, in excruciating pain, and dealing with the traumatic experience of feeling level 9 pain from the drill during the procedure and being told I just need to "deal" with it and to "hold still" by the dentist. 12 years later I want to start facing these issues and start having regular cleanings. I was comforted by the reviews I read about this office so I decided to give it a try. I am SO GLAD I did!! The dental hygienist who took my x-rays and cleaned my teeth was so sweet, patient, and made me feel so comfortable. The Dr. King was so gentle, reassuring, and I felt completely comfortable with his treatment plan. I am amazed by relaxing the entire experience was!!

As someone with severe anxiety, especially dental anxiety, I put off finding a new dentist for 7 years!! But I originally went to Dr. King (who my spouse was then seeing) for an emergency crown replacement. They were sensitive to my anxiety and were gentle with me. I figured if they were that good with a crown replacement, I'd schedule a much-needed subsequent cleaning with them. I've since had two cleanings with them and though I tell the hygienist about my anxiety at each visit, they are always sensitive to my fears and gentle with me. They are very nice!

Dr. David King is a great dentist and very personable. You always feel comfortable discussing his recommendations for your best interest. He has an amazing and friendly staff. They are equipped with the latest technology in dentistry so it makes everything a little easier for the patient. All of the hygienist are very good and try to make the process as painless as possible. I highly recommend this Dentist and staff.

My wife, mother, and I have been going to Dr. King for years and absolutely recommend him and his team to anyone! Very professional, personable, and excellent dental cleanings/procedures. Dr. King put in a crown for me several years ago and it still looks and feels great! We like them so much we make the drive from Madison.
