The Kineret Orthodontics team is experienced, talented, and passionate about helping you achieve your best smile. Dr. Kineret has been a part of the Rocklin community for over 25 years and has won several awards for excellence in the field of orthodontics.
We are committed to the safety of our patients and our team, which is why we use advanced levels of protection and infection controls. The Kineret Orthodontics team also uses state of the art technology to achieve your smile, whether you decide on clear braces, conventional brackets, or Invisalign.
Dr. Steve Kineret is a California native son and the founder of Kineret Orthodontics. He has lived in Rocklin with his wife and three daughters since 1997. He is a devoted father and husband and his current interests revolve around family enrichment activities. He is also currently interested in music and personal fitness.
Dr Kineret is a former martial artist and holds a black belt in Seidokan Karate. His interest in martial arts began in 1968 when he studied under Chuck Norris and Pat Johnson (technical director and actor in the Karate Kid) in Sherman Oaks, California. Prior to starting his family, he was a marathon runner, swimmer, and certified scuba diver. He also has an interest in photography and enjoys the outdoors and nature. As a youth, he was very involved in scouting and attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
Dr Kineret is committed to continued personal and professional growth and education. He has a special interest in learning new things about other people and cultures. Dr Kineret and his family are committed to supporting the community and helping others.
Karissa is the front office scheduling coordinator and billing specialist. She loves to work with families, and especially kids, by making them feel welcome and comfortable every time they visit the office. She moved here from Cleveland, Ohio in 2009 where she continued her experience in customer service and finance. Karissa lives in Antelope with her husband and 9 year old daughter, who is also a patient of Dr. Kineret! Her favorite way to spend free time is taking road trips with her family and dog, Teddy, anywhere sunny and warm.
Jhoane is one of our Registered Dental Assistants. Jhoane enjoys getting to meet new people and helping them feel comfortable when they walk into our office. She also likes to help educate patients about oral health. Jhoane began her dental career assisting in general dentistry for about 3 years before joining the Kineret Orthodontic team. Jhoane was also a patient of Dr. Kinerets and very much enjoyed the experience, which led her to choose the orthodontic field for her career. While enjoying her time outside of work, Jhoane likes to read novels and spend time with her husband and two kids; they love the outdoors and taking walks along the river with their two dogs on the weekends.
Teresa is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant & Registered Dental Assistant. She loves helping patients create beautiful smiles. She works hard to make sure every patient feels at ease and knows they are in good hands with Dr. Kineret. She began her career in the Bay Area, where she worked for two orthodontists for 17 years.
In 2004, Teresa and her family moved to Rocklin so her husband, Jay, could start his own Real Estate business. She has three adult children Jacob, Kyla and Zac and she is the youngest of nine kids. She enjoys spending time with her large family and she loves animals, especially her dog Mocha and two cats Demi and Buddy.
Kayla is our newest Amazing Kineret Orthodontics clinician and we are so glad to have her in our practice. She is currently working on advancing her career and has begun studying for OAP certification. Kayla is a veteran Airman and dutifully served our country prior to entering healthcare. Her Air Force experience has instilled in her the values of hard work, caring, respect for others, and teamwork. One of Kaylas earliest memories was a shift from being afraid of dental visits to acquiring a keen interest in orthodontics. She recalls wanting braces for herself since age eight. She says now that she actually has them, she loves connecting with patients and sharing their wonderfully positive experience. She especially enjoys seeing the huge boost in confidence that comes with an amazing Kineret Orthodontics Smile!
Leinaala is our office Treatment Coordinator and has worked in business management and finance for over 15 years. She has lived in Rocklin for 22 years and is passionate about building a strong community through the practice by establishing relationships with each patient and getting to know their individual needs. In her free time she loves to play with her grandson, cook with her daughters, and explore new places with her husband and friends.

They do their job properly but the colorsheet for bands is horribly misleading and are much darker than the actual. The color i chose on the sheet was like a pastel green but turned out to be neon green. Also they placed the alingment bands in a way that impeded my speach.

Most unprofessional, rude, and disorganized staff ever. Very low class and improper. I was referred by my dentist for Invisalign. I called and made an appointment for the first week in November. Their processes requires you to take photos of your teeth and upload them to a portal. I did that the same day I made the appointment. During my first scheduled appointment, no one sent me the doxy link so I was calling the office during my appointment time to let them know. I had to leave voicemails because no one was answering. I still didn't get a call back after 30 minutes so I called again. The receptionist made it seem like it was my fault because they scheduled me an appointment during the doctors lunch and said "of course no one would be available during lunch to answer the phone", which prompted my question of why would you make an appointment during that time and why would your staff not send me a link prior to the appointment if no one is available during that time? So we rescheduled for another time. The next appointment I scheduled, I was in the waiting room for about 20 minutes, and the Dr. still was not in the meeting. I get a phone call from his office (20 minutes after my appointment time) and they said he is needed to cancel my appointment. They once again rescheduled me for today. I get a phone call early this morning from a rude receptionist saying that the doctor took a look at my photos and determined that my underbite isn't a problem and that she is canceling my appointment because it's not necessary for me to talk to him. Not only did they waste my time on three occasions, they clearly didn't even understand why I needed to meet with him in the first place. I told that to the receptionist and she responded in the most condescending tone and said " I'm so sorry you see this as such an inconvenience". This office is low class, unprofessional, and clearly doesn't know what they are doing.

My daughter is a going here for her braces. I like the friendly atmosphere and the dentist has explained every step of my daughter's progress. I definitely would recommend them.

Incredible customer service! Probably the most caring clinic I have ever been to. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with Kineret Orthodontics - everything from the clinic's decor, friendliness of the staff, treatment results, and payment options reflected their deep consideration of their patients' comfort. Updating my review. I was originally satisfied with this orthodontist because he did do a good job with my daughters first set of braces. Before the pandemic we were scheduled to get her second set installed. But before we moved forward he wanted me to take my daughter to get special imaging on some teeth she had growing above other teeth and he wanted to confirm whether or not they were going to cause nerve damage. This X-ray cost me $400 out of pocket! He recommended that we have those teeth extracted. Unfortunately Covid put a hold on the extraction and the installation of her second set of braces. When things started to open back up I requested a referral from dr. Kineret so I could take my daughter to get her teeth extracted. They told me they would only give me the referral after I commit to having her second set of braces put on. As luck would have it, my finances have changed since last year and I'm no longer in a position to pay for braces right now. So now my daughter has these teeth growing in impacting her mouth and I can't do anything about it since the dentist won't extract without the referral and Dr. Kineret won't give me a referral until I pay up for more braces. I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere when I can afford to get her a second set of braces!

Dr. Kineret and his staff have been wonderful!!! Our son Kiefer looks great!! He had a severe underbite. Dr. Kineret and Dr. Chin his oral surgeon worked together wonderfully!!! They walked us thru the process for Kiefer to get his smile looking great. We would like to thank Dr. Kineret and staff for a fantastic smile for our son!!!
