After growing up in Macon, GA, Dr. Kimberly Williams Chubb traveled to Knoxville College to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1991, also becoming a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at that time. She chose the Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA, to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1997.

After joining the Navy, she was subsequently commissioned as a Naval Dental Officer, serving for the next eight years and attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Her residency in the Navy enabled her to work with dentists in all specialty areas, gaining extensive experience and developing a remarkable versatility in practice.

When her Naval service was complete, she returned to Georgia and started her current practice in Newnan, GA. Dr. Chubb has helped many patients achieve smiles that make them happier through teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, crowns, bridges, tooth-colored fillings and dental implants. She also helps patients with simple and complex extractions (such as wisdom teeth) and root canal therapy.

By advancing her studies every year, she is able to offer her patients the latest in dental advancements and improvements. All the key staff at Dr. Chubbs office join her in continuing their education every year and keeping their knowledge of techniques and materials up to date in every area of the practice. Dr. Chubb also maintains a membership in the American Dental Association, a national organization which helps her stay abreast of the latest developments in technology, safety, hygiene and management.

As a dentist, Dr. Chubb enjoys the chance to influence her patients to develop good habits that protect their dental and overall health, knowing that it is possible to retain your teeth for your whole life with the right care. She finds that dentistry involves education, prevention of disease and correcting problems that improve the quality of her patients lives. Dr. Chubb and all her staff are committed to creating a comfortable, congenial environment in which to receive their care. Dr. Chubb leads her Amazing Smiles Family Dentistryteam in providing services that help patients feel better about their smiles, which often helps them feel better about themselves.

Its my privilege to serve my community and I appreciate the trust that parents, families and individuals have placed in me, said Dr. Chubb. We understand that visits to the dentist are not the most comfortable activity for many people, so we have worked hard to create an atmosphere where compassion, patience, listening and understanding make it easier for our patients to get the care they need to stay healthy.

On a personal note, Dr. Chubb is married and has a son and a daughter. As a wife, mother and dentist, Dr. Chubb works hard to balance her personal and professional lives, which makes her sensitive to the demands of the working parents among her patients. She is very active in her church and enjoys staying fit. Her love of karaoke gives her a chance to express her creative side.

When you become a patient at our office, you will find that we are here for you and your dental health. This might feel a little different than some other dental practices where perhaps you felt you were part of a huge business that was trying to see as many patients as possible. At Amazing Smiles Family Dentistry, you come first.

We are committed to providing you with thorough, expert dental care for your whole lifetime, in a supportive, friendly and comfortable environment. As one of our patients, you should feel comfortable telling us about your goals for your health and your concerns about your teeth or treatment. If fears or anxieties make dental care difficult, please let us know so we can discuss solutions.

In this age of technology, dental advances have been rapid. Among these are the absolute need to practice safe dentistry. For the welfare of our patients as well as our staff, we comply with all guidelines on infection control procedures furnished by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

We are committed to caring for each person who comes to our office, not just his or her teeth. So we listen to our patients and their needs, educate them on their current dental health and explain the care that can protect the longevity of their teeth as well as their overall health.

Our goal is to help our patients feel better about their smiles, which often helps them feel better about themselves. When our patients work with us through good at-home care and regular visits to our office, we can help them preserve their smiles with the exact treatments they need to keep all the structures of their mouths and teeth healthy.

If you have not yet visited our office, we hope you will take advantage of our New Patient Offer to experience our exceptional level of care. And if you are a current patient, we appreciate the opportunity to help you and your family stay healthy and smiling!

The faster a dental emergency can be cared for, the better our chances of saving a tooth and speeding healing. If your tooth is knocked out or broken, please call us immediately and keep the tooth or piece of tooth clean and bring it with you. When a tooth has been knocked out completely, avoid touching the root. For lost crowns, fillings, toothaches or other problems, please consult with us immediately. We can advise you on temporary solutions to make you feel better until we can schedule your arrival. Call (770) 304-0034.
