Dr. Rice fell in love with dentistry in high school, and after all these years in practice, she still loves everything about her job. Her favorite part is our dedicated team and awesome patients like you!
After being the co-owner of a large dental office, she opened her practice in 2006. Fast forward to today, and Dr. Rice continues to advance her techniques with ongoing education for more treatment options under one roof.
Shes very involved in the industry, having taught at Washtenaw Community College in the dental assisting program and currently serving as a faculty member at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in the restorative department. Dr. Rice has also volunteered at Hope Clinic and Childrens Dental Health Day.
I was so impressed with the quality care that I received. Dr. Rice is such a warm and caring person. She takes her time and makes certain that you are satisfied with her work and is always available if you need her for an emergency dental procedure. I would highly recommend this dental clinic.
Her mother is her hero, and taught her love, kindness, and responsibility. All of this, taught her to be a better mother. Dr. Rices mother is the one who instilled the importance of having an education and Dr. Rice took all of it to heart. The generational lessons have empowered her to be the best dentist, mom, employer, and friend.

Dr. Rice's dental office is the best I have been to in my adult life. Very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Rice and her team are AMAZING! Ive always been apprehensive while at other dentist offices, but not here. They made me feel very comfortable, and I greatly appreciate it.

I love Dr Rice and my hygienist, Mickey. They are both friendly, thoughtful, kind, and unhurried as they answer questions and give advice during cleaning and exam. I'm very satisfied with my excellent dental care. Mickey is an amazing hygienist, I have very sensitive teeth and my discomfort during cleaning is very minimal. Bonus: you get a blanket to cover up with if you're cold. So glad a friend referred me to Dr Rice's practice many years ago!

Dr Rice is an experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate dentist. She and her staff are friendly, professional and consistently make time to educate patients on treatment and preventative care. My young children even look forward to their dental visits! The whole team makes us feel like family. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Incredibly nice staff Had my dentist explain everything in a way I could easily understand, as well as be incredibly gentle when prodding around my mouth. All in all, I would give more stars if I could.

A new patient. From the first call they made it so easy. They went out of the way to fit me in. Such a pleasant experience from everyone. Never had such a complete & thorough exam from both the hygienist who's a real pro with a great personality & Dr. Rice who's got such a wonderful chair side manner.

I was a little nervous about going with the Covid-19 issue, however, when I arrived, they had 2 different stations to do the screening (ie questions, fever, cough etc, etc) and take your blood pressure. Once I was back at my stall, I watched as my hygienist wiped everything down before she went to the next step of cleaning my teeth. Staff made me feel very comfortable with their cleaning routine during this Pandemic. I have an appointment to return in December and feel quite comfortable keeping that appointment.

Tammy on the phone was very kind and Shelby (spelling?) was my assistant and was super cool and calming. I was extremely anxious and everyone I encountered helped me through the process. Unfortunately I need additional work done but feel comfortable with this staff.

I had recently moved to the area and really needed dental work. I noticed the many positive reviews this placed had and scheduled an appointment as they also took my insurance. The demand for this place is very noticeable as I was scheduled a little farther out than I first hoped but ended up getting in sooner than I was scheduled because someone cancelled and they called if I wanted to come in. Having not been to the dentist in years, I was a little timid and wasn't sure what to expect. When I arrived for my first visit, I was with Shannon, the hygienist and was honest about my current health and habits. After the cleaning and x-ray's Dr. Rice and Shannon came up with a plan to help fix my on-going issues I had. I left feeling like they genuinely cared about my health. After my most recent cleaning, my hygienist was legitimately happy to see the great progress we had made over the months. This office actually cares about improving your health, not just simply booking appointments. I would wait an extra month if I had to just to make sure I can have this kind of care. As long as I'm within a driving distance of this location, I will always come here.
