Dr. Rioux is very passionate about what goes on in her practice, so shes handpicked a team who shares her vision. We continuously pursue top quality continuing education to provide an uncompromising quality of care and service.

Your comfort is our highest concern, so if youre anxious, rest assured youll be in good hands to help you feel relaxed. We use leading-edge technology to help communicate as well as keep you comfortable. We understand that Dr. Rioux may be the only doctor a patient may see in a given year, so we want to get to know each of our patients as a person first.

When Im not being aGig Harbor dentist, I love being outdoors and enjoy mountain and snow biking, skiing, and water sports. I also love thoroughly puttering in the garden and watching my kids Brev (born 2000) and Adele (born 2005) playing on the zip line, slack lines, or feeding the chickens. We have an indoor/outdoor aviary filled with birds and also share our home with two cats, two dogs, and two parrots!

Dentists (in Gig Harbor or anywhere) offer the best patient experience when supported by a caring, capable, and friendly team. We aim to exceed your expectations and guide you to a healthier mouth and body.

I was born in the Fiji Islands, but Ive lived in Washington for over thirty years, and I love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I live in Gig Harbor with my husband, our three girls, and our dog Holly.

I graduated from Shoreline Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Before that, I was working as a dental assistant. I enjoy educating and building relationships with my patients. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, traveling, hiking, gardening, baking, and cooking. I love working with Dr. Rioux and our team, and I look forward to meeting you!

I enjoy being a part of Dr. Kim Riouxs team. We all share a common goal: to provide our patients with the highest quality care in a comfortable atmosphere. I enjoy building relationships with our new and current patients, talking, laughing, and helping each person learn how quality at-home dental care affects whole body health.

I have been a registered dental hygienist since 2001 and in the dental field since 1991. I believe in life-long learning, so in 2015 I earned my Bachelor of Science from The College of Health, Arts and Sciences of Oregon Technical Institute and I pursue as many ongoing continuing education courses as possible. I actively support and promote my profession through volunteer leadership with our local chapter of the American Dental Hygiene Association.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my significant other and our three dogs Areo, Max and Lily. I love fishing, crabbing, eating at new restaurants, playing board games with friends, and singing karaoke.

I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program from Clover Park Technical College in 1992. I always wanted to work in the health industry. I chose the dental profession because it would allow me to meet new people, help others learn about the importance of dental health, and build lasting relationships with patients. I try to make each and every experience a positive one for my patients.

I enjoy every aspect of my job, especially the group of women who I work with. Weve all known each other for a long time, and they are very much like a second family. Dr. Rioux and the girls make coming to work an enjoyable thing!

I was raised in Gig Harbor and graduated from Gig Harbor High School. I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Clover Park Technical College in 2005. Outside of the office, I enjoy time with my husband and our two kids. I love cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends!

My favorite part about being a dental assistant is having the opportunity to know my patients personally, as well as being able to treat their diverse dental needs. I enjoy the challenge of each new case and helping my patients feel comfortable and well cared for.

Originally from eastern Washington, Ive lived in the great city of Gig Harbor since 2014 along with my husband, four daughters, and our fur-son Jax. I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at YVCC and YV-Tech in 2013. I have had the honor to be a part of such a dynamic team at Harbor Hill Dentistry since 2017.

My priority as a dental assistant is to maintain a comfortable atmosphere and experience for our patients. In my personal time, I love spending quality time with my family and cooking new recipes off of Pinterest.

I was born and raised in Southern California. Ive been in the dental field for 15 years, from dental assisting to dental administration. My husband currently serves in the U.S. Navy, which has blessed us with the opportunity to live in Hawaii for six years, and now this beautiful state. We enjoy all the seasons and scenery Washington has to offer.

I was born in Virginia and moved to the Pacific Northwest when I was very young. Being a PNW native, I am gifted with immense gratitude for our homes state beauty and grandeur. Aside from gawking at the mountains and sunsets, I enjoy attending car shows, taking photos, and going on hikes.

I currently study at Tacoma Community College. I am enthusiastic about being a member of the Harbor Hill Dentistry team and I welcome the opportunity to learn academically at TCC and in the workplace here at Dr. Riouxs office.

I was born and raised in Montana, and recently relocated to the PNW with my husband and our twin toddlers. I grew up in Yellowstone National Park and spent my summers scooping ice cream, and making coffee for park visitors. While we are no strangers to beautiful places, we are excited to be near the water, and closer to family and friends.

Before moving West, I earned my Masters Degree from Gonzaga University in 2011, and have worked in dental offices since 2012. I love connecting with patients and helping the office run as smoothly as possible. Dentistry is always evolving and progressing, and I enjoy continuing to learn and grow with the industry. Im looking forward to getting to know all the patients here at Harbor Hill!

My visit was great. The reception group welcomed me warmly and helped me feel comfortable. Carey has always been warm and welcoming and does a great job with my cleanings. Dr. Rioux has always been warm and compassionate in her care. All the staff have taken the time to explain what they suggest we do and how it would occur. Thanks to all of you!

I confess, I've had a snoring problem for awhile now. My wife heard that Dr. Gressell has a new treatment option called "NightLase". I decided to check it out and took the leap. I'm now 2 treatments into my 4 course plan and can already feel the difference. My breathing is easier, especially when breathing through my nose; and most of all, my snoring has dropped off by at least 80%! My wife is super pleased with that, and hoping that the final 2 treatments will solve the remaining 20%. The Doc and staff have been super informative and have kept me in the loop the entire process. Highly recommend!

I'm so grateful to have access to this dentist office which focuses on whole-person health and healthy jaws. I actually look forward to going to the dentist here; the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Extra bonus that they took the time to call the manufacturer when my dog destroyed my retainer and I ended up with a discount for my new retainer as well as getting it re-fitted.

You can only hope your Dentist is honest and trustworthy. Kim Rioux and the hygienist are not. Went in for my regular cleaning. The hygienist said I need a "deep cleaning". They informed me my insurance would pay 80% of the cost. I reluctantly agreed to the procedure. Months later, my insurance informed me they will not be paying anything for the service provided. Their reasoning was there is not ANY evidence showing a "deep cleaning" procedure was necessary. I called Kim Rioux and asked if they could file an appeal showing evidence the procedure was needed. They agreed and submitted an appeal to my Insurance. My insurance then informs me they still see no evidence and will not be paying. I call Kim Rioux DDS and try to work out a deal reducing the cost of the procedure. They finally offered to take $50 off the price. When I tried to negotiate, they then threatened me with a finance charge and collections. The Office Manger at Kim Rioux DDS is not pleasant to deal with and has made this whole ordeal frustrating and complicated.

Dr. Rioux and her staff are outstanding! I've had fillings, an implant, and cleanings done pain free. Dr. Rioux doesn't seem rushed and consistently does quality work. Dr. Rioux's office really stands out because of the extra care she has taken to ensure that that you are comfortable during your visit. The heated pillows are definitely a bonus!

I called their office and was able to get in right away as a new patient due to a "cancellation". The online registration forms were fast and easy to fill out. Celine & Brevard at the front desk are friendly & very accommodating. The Dental Hygienist Krystlelyn is amazing and extremely caring. She also does a great job. I wish I could say the same for Dr. Rioux. I had two fillings performed by Dr. Rioux and her dental assistant Chong. As Dr. Rioux was injecting the Anesthetic into the bottom part of my gums she hit a nerve which immediately made me jolt. That has never happened to me before. The feeling was of a lightning sensation in my chin. 10-15minutes into the filling I felt my heart beating out of my chest so naturally I started to panic. It was the worst feeling I've ever had to experience. I felt like my heart was going to stop beating since it was beating so hard and fast.. I raised my hand and got up right away to sit up on the chair. Turned out my body was having a reaction to the Epinephrine anesthetic. Which again has never happened to me before. After a few minutes of letting my body calm down, I laid back down (still frightened) and she continued the filling. It felt rushed and because of that I am now left with a sharp filling rubbing against my tongue. And it is now difficult to speak and eat. I walked out of her dental office frustrated and fearful of getting any future dental work done ever again.. To make matters worse, when I got home I felt something sharp floating in my mouth, a tiny piece of the filling either chipped off or was left behind after she was finished. What a horrible experience!! She was not friendly or caring either, I do not recommend her.

I had a simple filling done and it wasn't done correctly. The dentist rushed the job and left me with a rough filling. They want to me to come back in to get it fixed on their schedule. They got annoyed when I couldn't come back in right away to get it fixed. Like I need to make time in my busy schedule to be inconvienced to go back to this place that didn't do the job right to being with. They are much more costly than most places and I expected better work. Sadly I didn't get what I paid for.

Everything about my visit here went well, as expected. The only thing I would change was the music. It was not to my liking as was not soothing. Calm Radio would be a great addition to the a Atmosphere.

This was the best dental visit I've ever had. Dr Kim did the most thorough exam my daughter has ever had, she explained everything so we would understand, we obtained our referrals and recommendations, and were even offered a doctor's note for my daughter's school. Very well done, thank you!
