Dr. Kim Batterson has been practicing orthodontics since 2002. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree and her dental degree. After dental school, she went on to complete a post-doctoral specialty program at the University of Iowa in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. This is where she earned her Master of Science degree and received her Orthodontic Certificate. A board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Batterson feels it is important to stay abreast in the latest advances in orthodontics. She has special interests in treating craniofacial anomalies (cleft lip/palate), orthognathic surgery, and the use of temporary anchorage devices (TADS) to assist in treating malocclusions.
Dr. Batterson is an active member of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Colorado Dental Association. She is in several study clubs, including the Seattle Study Club and the Colorado Springs Orthodontic Study Club. She currently serves on the Council for Orthodontic Healthcare (COHC) for the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists.

Absolutely the best orthodontist in the world. She did amazing work and even though I was a difficult case she stuck with it. Faye is amazing and all the girls are absolutely great. Shout out to Travis for being awesome with scheduling and getting me in to get my braces off. Honestly dental stuff scares me but they did so well and I would recommend them to anyone who needs orthodontist work!

My mother paid 7000 dollars to Dr.Batterson's previous buisness A & B orthodontics. My braces came off six years ago. She put me in a palatial expander that implanted itself into my soft palate and caused permanent damage.. Three years of headgear pushed my jaw out of alignment. I couldn't fully open my mouth for YEARS before the swelling went down, some days being unable to put a straw between my teeth. My braces were removed as soon as our payment plan was through, with my teeth not straightened. To this day I have jaw problems including headaches and pain when chewing or speaking.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kim Batterson & her staff. Not only is she knowledgeable, her ortho work is precise, affordable & beautiful. I wish I could post before and after pictures. I had an enormous gap and my overbite was not good. Her work has made my smile beautiful & my self-confidence soar! If you are thinking about you or your children receiving ortho services from Kim Batterson Orthodontics - don't think, but do so, right away. We live in the Castle Rock area and drive quite a distance to see Dr. Batterson. I couldn't ask for better care and professionalism in an orthodontist and the staff is also wonderful. Both my children have had braces and my youngest is still in treatment. Thank you for always going above and beyond to give my children beautiful smiles.

Dr Batterson is a wonderful orthodontist this is my second time with braces I drive 30 minutes to see her and it's worth the drive she have fix everything the first person didn't fix I can't say enough about her perfection in making sure everything is right and everyone in the office is very friendly and wonderful also #1 dentist

Love Dr. Batterson. Been going to her for around twelve years through two rounds of braces, retainers, wisdom teeth, etc. Got fantastic results--my teeth are great. She is always very competent, upbeat, and professional. Great office staff. Highly recommend!

We have had the most amazing experience with Dr Batterson and her staff. My daughters dentist had recommended that she needed braces and I went to Dr. B for a second opinion. Not only did she recommend a completely different treatment plan she was charging the same as the dentist who didn't have the credentials of an orthodontist. Dr. B is a perfectionist. She will not do anything below standards that she has set for her and her staff. My daughter was terrified of having any kind of dental procedure. The staff treated her wonderfully. Dr B is firm but patient and very calming. They always explained everything as well. After referring several friends and family to Dr Batterson I decided at the age of 46 I would also get braces. So many times people want to straighten their teeth without fixing their bite. Dr Batterson gave me a smile I never realized I was missing. The other thing that I find of great value is that she is here in Widefield and canyon city for the long-haul. She still checks up on my daughter even though it's been several years since she had her braces off. I would highly recommend her and her staff over anyone else I've encountered in the orthodontic field.

We absolutely love Dr Batterson and her entire staff. We have eight children, and all of them see her. She is friendly and accommodating, and I can't imagine doing this in a reasonable way with anyone other than her!

Went today for our consultation on our 7 and 8 year old kids. Dr. Batterson was great with the kids and explaining the overwhelming process to me. We are excited to work with her and her team to get our kids teeth aligned.
