Parents are welcome to come sit chairside while their child is being cared for in the clinic. We encourage your participation so that everyone understands the goals of treatment and the ways in which to achieve the best results while increasing your awareness about good oral health. We are also interested in what goes on outside of the clinic and enjoy hearing about all the interesting activities and travels of our patients and their families.
Because orthodontic treatment typically lasts two years, scheduling of regular dental visits is critical to maintaining good oral health and is essential for successful treatment results. We maintain personal relationships with your dentist and keep them informed about the progress of your treatment and our office stays informed about your dental health.

Our office is also equipped with up to date digital technology to take your x-rays with the lowest possible radiation exposures while obtaining the highest quality images which can be sent to your dentist without any loss of image quality.
Dr. Kim is passionate about improving the overall quality of life and self-esteem of his patients by creating beautiful and healthy smiles that last a lifetime. He believes in utilizing the finest modern technologies and advanced clinical techniques available. He is inspired to enhance smiles with form and function, all while delivering outstanding customer service. His strict attention to detail, along with his calm and caring attitude has won over many patients in the community. Dr. Kim lives in Northeast Tacoma with his wife, two daughters and one son. Away from his practice you will find him spending time with his family. They enjoy soccer, skiing, biking, golfing and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Lee is dedicated to her patients and strives to bring the best possible esthetic and functional outcome for all her patients. She is focused on the patients need and desires. She continues to expand her skills by taking numerous continuing education courses and stays up to date on the latest techniques and materials to bring her patients the best results. She currently resides in northeast Tacoma and enjoys spending time with her two daughters and one son. When not working hard to bring beautiful new smiles to her patients, she enjoys spending time in the wonderful outdoors skiing, biking, yoga and swimming.

I love orthodontics! After having braces as a teen I was so amazed at what it did for my teeth and confidence I decided it was the career for me. I started in 1997 in the dental field. I enjoy bringing a positive energy to work and helping others achieve the same experience I had. I enjoy spending time with my family, trying new foods, and catching up with friends. I have been working in the dental/orthodontics field for about 13 years before I joined the Kim and Lee orthodontics back in 2012.
