Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

DONT GO HERE! THEY WILL TRY TO UP SELL YOU AND IF YOU DONT TAKE ACCEPT THE UP SELL PRETTY MUCH THEY DONT WORK YOU AND TELL YOU TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I LITERALLY GOT OFF THE DENTIST CHAIR AND WALK OUT. THE FRONT DESK LADYS AND XRAY LADY WERE NICE.

I've needed a lot of work done over the past year, and I can honestly say that this place cares about its patients. Going to dentists has always made me nervous, but the people who work there are always so nice and welcoming. And to make it even better, they do a great job. 5 stars may be the minimum but I'm giving more in my heart. Thanks you guys. You rock :) I appreciate everything you've done.

Literally came in for treatment because of a terrible toothache I've had for months, only to realize after my consultation that it would require a crown. Basically went through with the treatment anyway and can say that it wasn't as bad as I thought. In fact, I had terrible anxiety about the whole thing and probably bugged Dr. Huang with all my questions, but he was patient and very informative about the procedure. The staff was pretty friendly and knowledgeable too. Overall, the experience wasn't as bad as I anticipated. Definitely recommend!

Rude staff and the billing is a rip off, they try to charge you as much out of pocket as they can with no regards to your insurance plan. after contacting my insurance I was advised to change their office immediately!

This was the first dentist I went to after moving to killeen, they try to upcharge on everything instead of a regular cleaning they were trying to add on some laser stuff and other items when I only wanted the cleaning. They are now refusing to do my teeth. HORRIBLE FIRST IMPRESSION::Update I went to a different dentist and guess what, I got my teeth cleaned. MODERN DENTISTRY DENTIST LIED TO ME! He said that he'd be risking his license if he gave me a regular cleaning, bc my teeth were that bad. But he lied. He refused to do my teeth unless I did a deep cleaning when I didn't actually need it. Worst dentistry experience ever. Thank you have a great day.

I will be very honest, the staff here is very nice, professional and friendly. In addition to that, the ambiance is very nice also; clean and modern. But when it came time for my cleaning and then oral exam with the doctor it was very rushed; as if they were in a hurry to do something else. I've never had a cleaning done so fast and rough; it was unbelievable. And the doctor spoke very quickly he did not appear relaxed, but more so anxious to move to his next task. Then I recently discovered I was charged for unnecessary services that blew my bill through the roof. I will not return to this office for future dental services. I will not tell you not to go, because I do believe that with the right mindset people/businesses can change and learn from their mistakes and/or feedback which can lead you to have a better experience than I did. To end on a good note, all the staff was very nice. I just think with a little more tender care and patience this office can thrive fully.

Great energy at this establishment!!! And I needed it. Went in for pain on the back tooth. I'm thinking it's just a filling, but unfortunately a root canal was needed. So they did the works! Dr. Huang and Dr. Lou were awesome,and the staff as well. They really minimized the bad nerves on my 1st root canal. Yall just earned a regular client. Thank you so much!

I just wanted to express how great of an experience I had with Killeen Modern Dentistry staff. I came in one morning with severe pain and within a few hours I was pain free! Their check in process was quick and had great financing options, which helped me afford my treatment that day. Dr. Huang was very professional and most importantly caring and I really appreciate him getting me out of pain.

I had the most unbelievable problems scheduling a cleaning, getting a referral sent to an oral surgeon and getting copies of my x-rays. I still haven't gotten any of those things two years later! The doctor even forgot to do my periodontal exam during my initial visit! I had to miss an appointment with my new dentist because this office would not respond to their requests for the dental X-rays. This is the most disorganized dental office I have ever seen. I do not recommend it at all!

I haven't been to the dentist in years & the first time I do I had to get my wisdom teeth out and i was terrified but everyone there was AMAZING! Super nice and professional. Everyone made me feel comfortable and eased my mind about everything. & the oral surgeon did great. I know everyone is different but i haven't been in any pain or had any swelling!
