Elise Brace was born in New York, but her family relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina when she was two years old. Growing up she developed a fondness for arts-n-crafts and spent many hours drawing (and revising) until happy with the end result. Dr. Brace uses that attention to detail to provide her patients with the best possible care.
Dr. Brace received her undergraduate degree in Biology, and minor in Genetics, from North Carolina State University. After undergrad, she attended East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, where she attained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. While in dental school, Dr. Brace was involved with Smiles for a Lifetime, a service group aimed at providing dental education to the residents of various assisted living facilities in Greenville. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the American Academy of General Dentistry.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Brace is an avid DIY-er and can usually be found working on home improvement projects with her husband, Nathan. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, sewing, and curling up on the couch with a good book and her dog, Penny!
If you have severe tooth or mouth pain or an injury to your mouth, you should call our Cary dental office as soon as possible. We set aside time in our daily schedule to treat emergency dental issues. We also accept calls for our patients after hours. It is important for our patients to be able to reach us when they need to. Dental sedation is a great way for patients to feel calm and relaxed during dental treatment. We provide oral conscious sedation and anesthesia reversal with Oraverse. Whether you require a routine tooth cleaning or wisdom tooth removal, we will help you find the dental sedation solution you need. Our dental team understands that sometimes it can be overwhelming to visit the dentist due to dental fear or anxiety. If you have impacted wisdom teeth or severely damaged and decayed teeth, you require tooth extraction treatment. If extraction is necessary, our team will walk you through the procedure and keep you comfortable. Dr. Brace also offers an array of restorative options to replace teeth after a tooth extraction due to infected or damaged teeth. She may recommend dental implants for single missing teeth or dental bridges and dentures for patients who have multiple teeth extracted.
Dental veneers are thin, yet durable, shells of porcelain that are bonded to the front side of teeth. They are capable of changing the appearance of your teeth in virtually any way you can imagine. Dr. Brace will help you come up with your ideal smile, and then well create your porcelain veneers based on that look. I chipped my tooth while out of town, I called them from the airport and they fit me in the next day by 9am! The staff were so very nice and Dr. Brace did a FABULOUS job matching up the color and fixing my tooth on the spot! I would highly recommend! Tara

I'm new to North Carolina I've only been here a month and I'm so happy that my nephew recommended them they're easy to get along with and then trusting not like some other dentist do you need a good dentist in one good atmosphere go to Kildair dentistry

First visit - initially it was the nicely decorated waiting area and the pleasant women working to greet patients that first impressed me. Then the hygienist Ally came out to get me on time. Very knowledgeable, thorough, considerate and pleasant during the entire appointment. She was very careful to not cause me any more stress than I already was feeling by just being in a dental chair. Dr. Brace took the time to explain all my options for treatment plans, going above and beyond to be sure I understood what each procedure would involve. She too was very knowledgeable, pleasant and willing to listen to any concerns I had. For a first visit it went very well and will be returning to Kildaire Family and Cosmetic Denistry in the future.

I am far beyond impressed with this dental practice, that's not something I thought I'd ever say. Dr. Brace is phenomenal at what she does, she's professional, approachable, and clearly communicates any issues and/or procedures. From the reception staff and hygienists, to dental assistants, I could not have asked for more a professional and friendly experience. Dr. Brace called after a long day at the office to check on me which was greatly appreciated- not only that, she personally dropped a prescription off at the pharmacy. There is 1 employee that stood out, Chastity. This dental assistant was extremely knowledgeable, always empathetic, a joy to talk with, and seemed to truly love her job. As an employer she exemplifies the type of individual you want representing your company. I'm not sure what she's paid, but it's not enough. Thank you all for making me not dread the dentist any longer!

Dr. Brace and staff are fantastic. I have lost two amazing dentists in the past few years due to retirement and a move, and didn't think I'd find another great dentist. I did! I even love the teeth cleaning process - very thorough and explained all the way. I'm now sure that my teeth, once again, are in good hands.

Got great service here, but it isn't cheap. The dentist I saw was out of my network, which I was not aware of until I was done. I can't complain about the work they did, although I did get a second opinion on a treatment plan they provided me and the other dentist did not think I needed everything they advised. Seemed like they may have been recommending unnecessary work just to collect money. In summary... Good service, but expensive. Check if they are in your network before they do any work.

First visit today. Annette, hygienist, did a great job. Only met Dr Brace briefly, but she has done work for my husband and he really likes her! Great Location, nice clean office and very friendly office staff!

I needed to find a new dentist since moving to NC and reviewed several my dental plan offered. I'm very happy I chose Kildaire Family Dentistry. My hygienist was great & explained everything she was doing step by step. Dr. Brace did her exam and was very thorough and she explained everything I needed to have done. They have a great team from the office staff to the dental team.

This is Donna's husband Kerry. I switched to Dr Brace from a "chain practice" in the area. The difference is night and day. Much more personal experience. They make you feel like family (and I got to watch Schitt's Creek while in the chair!). Love it here (the chain not so much).
