DR. JOE KIEFFER, D.D.S. I grew up in Howard, SD.I attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD where I met Elizabeth. We were married in 1996 and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000. We spent the next three years serving our country in the United States Air Force as dentists. We moved to Rapid City in 2003 and worked as associates for one year, then opened Kieffer Family Dental in 2004. I have a passion for getting to know my patients and caring for them the best that I can. I am currently studying the Spear Education program at the Scottsdale Center of Dentistry in Arizona striving to improve my dental knowledge to give my patients total health and cosmetic care. I enjoy spending time with the Lord, my four kids, being outdoors, and playing sports.

DR. ELIZABETH KIEFFER, D.D.S. I grew up in Rapid City, SD. I attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD where I met Joe. Joe and I were married in 1996 and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000. We spent the next three years serving in the United States Air Force as dentists. We moved to Rapid City in 2003 and worked as associates for one year. We opened Kieffer Family Dental in 2004. I love seeing children in our practice. They know how to put a smile on my face. I enjoy being with people and helping them to the best of my ability. I love the Lord. My family is a blessing that brings me great joy. I love sports and being outdoors. I have a passion for photography and traveling. Joe and I are blessed to have four children Olivia, Benson, Sullivan and Finnegan.

DR. DAN YOUNGREN, D.D.S. I am a Dentist at KFD who is semi-retired. I practiced in Minnesota as a solo private practitioner for 31 years after graduating from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1977. All of those 31 years were spent in St. James, Minnesota enjoying dentistry, church, family, and friends. After selling my practice we moved to Custer, SD in 2008. I joined the staff at KFD in June of 2009 working part time. I am enjoying being able to use my skills working with the incredible staff and patients here. Having prided myself in truly caring about my patients during my practice life and concentrating on high quality esthetic oriented dentistry, I have found KFD to be the perfect place for me to spend the remainder of my time in dentistry. My wife, Barbara, and I have been married for 38 years. We have been blessed with three married children and five grandchildren. Being outdoors in Custer, hiking, and biking take up much of our time after family and church. I am an avid bowhunter and have more 'camo' than formal clothes. I thank my Lord and Savior on a regular basis for the opportunity He has given me to be part of such a wonderful group of people here.

DR. KORT HERMAN, D.D.S. I am from Ranchester, Wyoming which is located at the base of the Big Horn mountains. After graduating from High School, I went to college at Augustana College in Sioux Falls. I received my Bachelors degree in Business Administration and started what I thought would be my career in business by working at Wells Fargo Bank in Rapid City, SD. I quickly realized that banking was not something I was passionate about and began looking into other careers. Dentistry had always been something I was interested in, so I began shadowing local dentists and found that dentistry was a fascinating field and one that I could fully devote myself to. I went to Black Hills State University and completed my prerequisites for dental school and enrolled in dental school at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, IL. After completing my dental education, I worked as a dentist in Illinois for several years before my family and I moved back to the Black Hills in 2016. I am currently a member of the American Dental Association and the South Dakota Dental Association.

CHRIS KIEFFER: BUSINESS MANAGER I am extremely blessed to have begun in March 2012 an adventure with Kieffer Family Dental as their Business Manager. It brings great pleasure to me to be able to serve others in an atmosphere where God is at the center. As the Business Manager, my purpose is to ensure that our patients receive utmost respect and across-the-board dental care and that our team continues to grow personally and professionally. My wife Kate and I were married in 1999. God has blessed us with four miracle children, Wilson, Lars, Liza and Oxel. I am passionate about the Lord and my family. I'm involved in our church and enjoy hunting, laughing, gardening, loving others, and serving.

SUE ROBINSON: FRONT OFFICE I have recently joined the team at KFD in September 2016 as part of the Front Desk staff. I love the Family Feel of the office, both among my co-workers and patient cliental alike. My husband Greg and I have lived in Rapid City for 20 plus years. We are blessed with 2 beautiful children. In our free time, we enjoy exploring the beautiful Black Hills.

CATHY KIEFFER: FRONT OFFICE I have been with Kieffer Family Dental since February, 2006. I love working with people with servants hearts and who share the same vision and passion for the Lord as I do. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know patients and their families and watching them grow. My husband Paul and I are blessed with four amazing kids: Ella, Simon, Nora & Veda. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sports, outdoors activities, cooking and reading.

DONNA COFFING: FRONT OFFICE I am the newest addition to the front desk staff and I am so blessed and excited to have joined KFD in December 2017, I bring 17 years experience with me. I was born and raised here in Rapid City and have never left my roots. I am married to the best husband and we have two grown children that live here in Rapid City and two awesome grandsons. My husband and I live out in the country and we enjoy landscaping and gardening on our land.

ABBY SCHILEY:REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST I have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Kieffer Family Dental since 2004. What I love most about my job is the ability to educate patients about their oral health and help to prevent disease. I live in Rapid City with my husband Buck and have two daughters Maggie and Lizzie. We enjoy outdoor activities and traveling.

JENNI LLORENS: REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST I have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Kieffer Family Dental since January 2009. My passion is to help improve patients oral health and develop relationships with my patients. I love spending time with my husband, Carlos, daughters Ava & Gianna, and dog Marly. We enjoy camping, riding bikes, and sledding.

NICKI BEARDSLEY: REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST I have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Kieffer Family Dental since February 2013.As a professional, my passion is to serve people and develop lasting relationships by promoting health and wellness in the dental hygiene field.In my spare time I love to be with my wonderful husband Mike, sons Carson & Weston and dog Bodhi. Together we enjoy riding horses, boating, and doing other outdoor activities.

Erika Soderquist: REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST I have been working as a registered dental hygienist at Kieffer Family Dental since June 2013. My passion is to develop relationships with my patients and to educate on importance of oral health for life. I love spending time with my husband Dave, our two daughters Ellie and Aria and our dogs. I am an avid runner, love all sports, and enjoy the outdoors.
