Dr. Jason Barb is a 2002 graduate from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Barb completed a two-year pediatric dental residency from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, in conjunction with Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. In October 2010, Dr. Barb became the proud owner of Kidsmile Inc.
Dr. Barb enjoys being able to practice dentistry in the place where he himself grew up and calls home. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their 3 children.
Dr. Bernard joined the practice in July 2018. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine in 2013. He began practicing as a General Dentist in Colorado, but decided to return to his hometown and specialize in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Bernard completed his pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital in conjunction with Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Bernard loves running, traveling, wood working and spending time with his wife and son.
Dr. Venzel, the founder of Kidsmile Inc., has been practicing dentistry since 1985. Dr. Venzel earned his dental degree from the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry and further completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.

Zero stars! Unfortunate to say that these people aren't up with the times. So sad that I am writing this review. I was turned away with my two daughters this morning because I wasn't the biological mom of one of my kids. My wife who I've been legally married to for 8 years (the biological) needed to be present for the doctors to CLEAN MY DAUGHTERS TEETH! I have NEVER had this issue EVER. I have taken both girls to other dentists, to flu shots and many other appointments. Never had a problem. Staff was disrespectful. Woman wouldn't even look me in the eyes. Other sad part, the women behind the desk were all very diverse. Thought we were better than that and more progressive. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're a decent human being!

Nice staff but... wanted to do crazy teeth pulling on my daughter.. already had them in my sons mouth three years ago and they pulled a lot of teeth that I wish I got a second opinion on like I did with my daughter. I've definitely told friends not to go by Kidsmiles word and to go to ROCKLAND in north Olmsted and they are thankful! Beware!

The receptionist was so rude because some kids were running around being kids. How are you guys going to be named KIDSmile and be so nasty when kids act like kids. That receptionist needs to be fired. 0/10 recommend this place nasty service.

Had my daughter's first dental exam today and I was being impressed with how clean kidsmile was and all the precautions they are talking to make sure everyone is staying safe. Everyone there was so friendly and dental hygienist and dentist were both very sweet with my daughter. When we left my daughter even asked when she can go back!! Highly recommend!!

I called today to ask if they take my sons insurance and the receptionist was RUDE! If I could give 0 stars then I would. I thought since working around kids you're supposed to be more friendly. I don't recommend to anyone

My son seen Dr. Barb this visit which he explained in detail what teeth were coming in & what to expect. The dental hygienist explained to my son step by step what she was doing as she was cleaning his teeth. My son has been going to Kidsmile for several years now and I highly recommend them.

I cannot thank this practice enough for going above and beyond the call of duty. Due to a calendar mix-up on our end, my wife told me the appointment for our 11 year-old daughter was for October 7 at noon, when in reality the appointment had been scheduled for November 7. Rather than send us away with an apology, arrangements were made to go ahead with our appointment, with the dentist and hygienists finding a way to fit us in! Terrific customer service on the part of all involved in helping out a busy parent. You guys rocked it today! Thank you!!!!

Office staff extremely rude and refused to give accurate information. After driving 43 minutes to the appointment, they were turned away. Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option.

Highly recommend Dr. Bernard. We have not had any issues with the front office staff. My daughter was in serious tooth pain and they could squeeze us in within a couple hours. Such a relief.

Both of my daughters have been going to Kidsmile in Avon since their first dental appointments at 2 years old. They're now 4 & 5 and just as amazing as they were when we first started. My oldest loves going to the dentist but was hesitant and afraid when she learned that she would be getting some small fillings done. Dr. Bernard was so sweet with her and made her feel so comfortable. He explained the entire process to her in a way she would be able to understand. His hygenist was also so great-very friendly and kind (they all are). My daughter really liked her! Because of them, she was able to sit still and wasn't afraid at all! It amazes me how they are able to tailor each appointment to "kid time" sitting in a dentist chair but have the ability to be detailed, thorough, gentle and precise in the tiniest mouths, in the tiniest crevices (AND of course in typical kid fashion, all while their tiny patient may be moving around/and or screaming simultaneously). Now that's impressive. The organization and cleanliness of the overall office is also amazing (esp. considering there are so many kids in and out every day). Communication with front desk is always great and they have been so wonderful to work with. They're always happy to answer any questions/concerns and the whole staff genuinely wants to help. I can't thank them enough for what they do!
