Dr. Satyen Desai began his dentistry career in India. Upon completion of dental school in 1999, his career flourished in India, providing general dentistry and emergency treatment in the hospital setting as well as in the clinic setting. Before advancing his career in the United States, Dr. Desai passed his National Dental Boards in 2001 as well as his dental licensure exam for the State of California in 2002. Dr. Desai has many years of experience working with children. Since 2003, limited to Childrens Dentistry, Dr. Desai has worked in all aspects of dentistry. For several years, he worked in a hospital setting for sedation of children.
Today Dr. Desai, has a brand new state-of-the-art practice specially designed for children in Modesto/Turlock, California. Serving children between the ages of 1-21. He offers Nitrous Oxide for young and apprehensive patients
Dr. Minal Desai, Dr. Desais Wife, is a successful Dentist, owner of Crossroads Dental Group. Together, they have a 14 year young son and a 8 year young daughter. In his spare time, Dr. Desai likes spending quality time with his family.

I have been taking my child here for a little over a year the doctor is great. Just about every visit he happens to get Kim for cleaning she is awesome.

I took all 3 of my kids the youngest is 3 and he was so nervous soon as we left our house.I thought it was going to be pretty bad for him and that he would probably cry the whole time there.When we got there Kim one of the dentist assistants took my son back and did x-rays,cleaning and few other things and he had a amazing experience and it was all thanks to Kim.She was just amazing with him.

My daughter had an extraction done on one tooth, It was painless and quick. Dr.Oliver and Jennifer did an amazing job!! I was nervous coming in not sure how she'll react. They both kept her calm and at ease throughout the whole process. Thank You again Dr.Oliver and Jennifer.

Amazing fast service and treatment once checked in! The dental assistants we're super kind and friendly. We drive 45-55 minutes just to come here. My son needed treatment after his cleaning and they are booked out 7 weeks and needed up doing his treatment today since there was a no show! Great office and highly recommended

My kids have been coming to this place for years. On their last appointment they were booked at the same time like they always are. My son was called back first almost an hour after his initial appointment time. I asked the young lady at the front why my daughter hadn't been taken back yet and this is well over an appointment. She is 3.5 and they told me that she has to have visual exam because she's so little. I was told she has 6 cavities. Long story short we took them else where to get a second opinion... 0 cavities and she did X-rays. I'm really disappointment in this place to put it lightly.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all ... my daughter had to get surgery after the doc took her tooth out from this facility because she got an infection ! The job wasn't done correctly....

Do not bring your children here. They were extracting my sons teeth and decided to just put it back in and refer him to another place so they can deal with it. Saying that my son was sick and was not cooperating which is not true! The "floor manager" was completely rude! I was pregnant at the time and couldn't defend myself I feel or my son but know I feel that I can tell you parents to just don't even deal with them. I tried to talk to the "actual manager" about the situation and said I was super emotional and that my pregnancy got the best of me and to leave her office! By that time my son was already halfway though the extraction that's when the floor manager went behind my back to tell the Dr to just stop the procedur and refer him to another dentist!!

Hands down, best dentist for kids. We were in and out within a reasonable time frame and my little was all smiles. She's been talking about the dentist and her teeth ever since lol The Dr. and Kim, our dental assistant, were so so patient and helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit

10 star i should say! Wow i had 2 appointments for both my daughters today.Amazing job we where in and out and the ladies are super friendly...believe aide was her name who helped me and was great on explaining in detail the work my daughter needed. We drive an hour to come to this office. They are kid friendly. Work with children with special needs. And the office is clean & neat. All around great place.

Was referred here by my girlfriend who been bringing her kids here since forever. First visit my son had was good, great doctor and great atmosphere. Made my son feel very comfortable. Second visit we arrive 30 mins early and due to covid you have to call to get checked in, was on hold for 15 min before deciding to hang up and call back. The receptionist ask me a couple of question then put me on hold again, by then it was past his appointment time so I decided to walk in and they totally forgot about me on the phone. Then tells me to wait outside to be called cause the lobby was packed. I watch a bunch of people who just walks in and check in without them being told to wait outside. We finally get to go in and it went from his appointment being at 330 to now being seen at 415 when we first got there at 3. The people who came way after us were being seen already while we had to wait because the staff were too busy over booking to remember when they have people on hold. Like why tell patients that they have to call before coming in but then let everybody else just walk in and check in. My girl today had the same issue, she took her daughter and they forgot about them being on hold and had her waiting outside while everybody else was just walking in. They need to get in control of their staff and how they are doing things. The doctors and assistant are amazing. The receptionists needs to be retrained or get a whole new staff.

Always a great experience with all Staff and Doctors! Specially with Dr. Mealins and assistant Jennifer. Jennifer made sure my son was calm by insuring him everything will be fine and by having awesome conversations! And like always Dr. Mealins did an awesome job when it comes to dental work!!! Highly recommend Kids world dental to all the parents out there for their little ones!!!

Dr. Mealing and assistant Karen did an amazing job keeping my 4 year old calm and happy during an otherwise scary experience. Kid's World Dental always has friendly staff, clean facilities, and get their patients in and out as quickly as possible. Thank you for taking care of my kids' dental needs!
