Dr. Forbes received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Queens College of the City University of New York. She completed her dental degree at Columbia University in 1997 and her Pediatric Dentistry diploma at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital in 1999.
Dr. Forbes is board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is on medical staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital as well as a clinical instructor in the department of dentistry. She currently serves on the New Jersey Board of Dentistry, a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, New Jersey Association of Pediatric Dentists and is life member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon for outstanding scholarship.

Amazing Work by Doctor Forbes! When we couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel Dr. Forbes came to the rescue! Not one other dentist was willing to help up or able to help fix our little 18 month old's teeth. They all left us in the dark due to her young age. I cried every night feeling so helpless following the past dentist advice to wait until she gets an infection then extract her teeth. Dr. Forbes was indeed the answer to my PRAYERS! Now my precious baby has 4 beautiful crowns protecting her teeth.

Dr Forbes and her staff is awesome. They took such a good care of my kids oral health and did all the required procedures in time. Dr Forbes is the Real "TOOTH FAIRY"....taking care of kids teeth and give them meaningful treats (toys and oral care kit) on every visit. :). May God bless her and the team.

Always a great experience for my kids. The staff is so professional and very patient. Dr. Dawn is awesome and she explains everything necessary when it comes down to the services for my kids. It's a clean environment and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended.

Both my kids have been going to Dr Dawn Forbes for a about 5-6 years now. She is nice and professional to the kids and her work is amazing. The staff is helpful and caring as well. The place is very clean. For all these years they have had biannual cleanings and a few cavity fillings. But just last month during the covid pandemic, I noticed my child had lost a filling. Luckily the dental office was open and based on our previous experience regarding the cleanliness and hygiene practices we felt confident about visiting the place. An extraction of the baby tooth was needed and was done a day or two later, with no complications since. My child was absolutely comfortable, stress free and pain free throughout the process. I would highly recommend this place.
