Dr. Elisabeth Rowold-Garciamendez, otherwise known as Dr. Lisi, earned her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 1983. After two years in private practice, she relocated to Chicago, where she achieved her Master of Science degree in pediatric dentistry from the University of Illinois. She and her family then moved to Texas and made Allen their home. In 1998, she opened her private pediatric dental practice. Dr. Lisi is active in the Allen community as a sports activity sponsor and as a member of the Allen Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Lisi maintains membership in the American Dental Association. Having completed advance post-doctoral courses in pediatric dentistry, she is qualified as a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Lisi and her husband, Edsel, have three children: Dr. Alina who is a pediatric dentist working with Dr. Lisi; Erik and Kristian have completed grad school and are working in their fields. As a mother herself, Dr. Lisi understands the concerns and considerations of parents who want the best dental care for their children. Dr. Lisi is fluent in Spanish and German. As a dentist, she focuses on helping her patients achieve healthy teeth and gums by educating them about proper hygiene and early prevention.
Dr. Alina was born in California and raised in North Texas. She graduated high school from Ursuline Academy in Dallas.She attended Stanford University where she played Division 1 soccer. After graduating from Stanford, she played professional soccer for one year in Germany for FFC Frankfurt. She attended Texas A&M (Baylor) College of Dentistry in Dallas. While in dental school, she became a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society and The Odontological Honors Society. Dr. Alina was awarded the Baylor Oral Health Foundation Centennial award for her professionalism, leadership, clinical and patient management skills, community service, and good academic standing. Dr. Alina was accepted into the Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Program at Texas A&M (Baylor) College of Dentistry. During her two years of residency, she worked at Childrens Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for children. Here, she developed the skills to care for medically complex and special needs children.
Dr. Alina is honored to be part of the Kids Pediatric Dentistry family and to work with her mother, Dr. Lisi. Both Dr. Lisi and Dr. Alina have been dreaming of this day for the longest time! Dr. Alina grew up watching Dr. Lisi bring passion and love to all of her patients, and she hopes to do the same. Dr. Alinas strengths include patience, kind-heartedness, and an easy-going personality which will allow her to connect with children.
Dr. Alina maintains active membership in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, North Texas Hispanic Dental Association, and Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society.
Together, Dr. Lisi and Dr. Alina will be able to help more children whether it be for an emergency or for routine dental needs. They hope to continue to make each experience fun and non-threatening so that the children will walk out of the office with a big smile on their face.

We strive to provide you with accurate cost estimates; however, an accurate estimate is based on the information your insurance company provides us. We ask that you give us all the necessary insurance information to facilitate the payment process. As an out-of-network provider, we are not preferred providers with any insurance plan. We are happy to assist you in any way we can.
The parent / legal guardian who brings the child for his/her visit is legally responsible for payment at the time of service, independent of what a divorce decree may state. We will not send statements to other parent/guardian.
