Im so lucky to love what I do! Ive worked with kids my entire life and knew I wanted to be a dentist by 8th grade. Pediatric dentistry is a passion for me, and I'mhere to teach childrentheir smiles can change the world!
I understand that pediatric dentistry is a whole lot more than just cleaning a patients teeth, preventing the formation of cavities, and treating dental issues. Its about relationships and families. Its about getting to know each patient and every parent and sibling. Its about caring for kids throughout their childhood and graduating them into adulthood with no cavities, a proper bite,and a positive outlook on dentistry.
During my two years of advanced training, I cared for a diverse pediatric population. My patients included children who were medically compromised and had special healthcare needs. Ialsoparticipanted with the craniofacial lip and palate team. This experience, along with my formal schooling, provided me with an excellent foundation in pediatric dental care.
However, this is a constantly evolving specialty: developments in treatments and technology allow us to provide even better care to our patients. Its essential I remain current on those new options. By pursuing continuing education, I am able to give my patients the best care experience and the most incredible results.
I grew up in a small town in Iowa. In fact, it was so small that by the time I was in Junior High I knew everyone by their first name! Today I take pride in the same personable approach. I love really getting to know my patients and making sure, when I see them around town, I remember their names.
Now I live in Denver, with my husband Jason. We have ayoung daughter, Alyvia anda Labrador Retriever, Taylor. When Im not working, Im probably spending time with family and friends. I especially like going out to eat with them! Facetime with family in Iowa and California is important to me, too. Ienjoy manyoutdoor activities, particularlyskiing, hiking, or competing in triathlons.

Dr. Jayme Michalson and our team love providing painless, fun dental care to infants, children, teens, and people with special needs. We care for each patient the way we would a member of our family: gently, with compassion and respect for them as an individual.
Our office has been designed with family comfort in mind. From our reception area featuring a kid play cove filled with books, a TV, and game stations, to the adult area offering a TV, free WiFi, and a complimentary beverage station. Of course we have kid-friendly dcor, which enchants and delights, too! Our family treatment area has colorful,cozy dental chairs and educational fun. We want our young patients to be comfortable and relaxed while here!
Some children worry when in new places. We want to eliminate all fear, so we take our time and talk to children at their own level. We help kidsunderstand the purpose of all our 'dental tools', what they do, and how we use them. We never overbook visits, so your child will have plenty of time toexplore, ask questions, and feel safe.
Dr. Michalson and our team know how to connect with our patients, no matter what their age. Were passionate about helping each child learn about their mouth, how everything works, and how to keep it healthy. By encouraging childrens natural curiosity, and their desire for independence, were able to give them the information they need to have healthy smiles.
We talk about proper brushing and flossing. Wediscussdiet and nutrition, how to develop good habits, and how having a healthy mouth means having a healthier body. Each of us wants our patients to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence for a lifetime of exceptional dental health and great smiles.

After struggling to find a decent dentist for my son I found Kids of Broadway and they exceeded my expectations. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. The doctor and assistants are very honest and clear with explaining processes and answering questions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist for their children.

We ALWAYS enjoy our visits with Dr Jayme!! We have been with Dr Jayme for about 4 years and have never been disappointed. She is always so kind and warm with my boys. She makes a point to make personal connections with my boys and makes them feel so comfortable. She takes her time and we never feel rushed. Dr Jayme really takes her time to explain any special procedures that may be needed so myself as well as more boys understand. Dr Jayme was able to accommodate my son quickly when he broke his tooth to get him in and his tooth fixed. Nicki her dental assistant is so great and comforting during X-rays when my 5 year was nervous. She took the time to walk him though it and was is bubbly . She really made a difference. Her team is always welcoming and professional from the time you arrive until we leave . We always feel like family when we are there!!! I would highly recommend Dr Jayme and her team!

Our family (3 kids) has been seeing Dr. Jayme for over 10 years; we followed her to her practice from her previous employer. She has helped us through all the usual tooth care (cleanings, cavities, etc.) and both planned and emergency extractions. I am so appreciative of the friendly, caring, and knowledgeable attention she has given our family and the accommodations she makes for my oldest child's sensory needs and anxiety. We have tried several dentists around town, but when we tried Kids Off Broadway we were settled! We love the hygienists and Dr. Michalson is amazing. My children actually look forward to visiting this office. Not only is the team great, they always provide treatment options and never try to oversell.

Dr. Jayme and her team are incredible. They are always so welcoming and enjoyable. They are absolutely wonderful with my kiddos. They make going to the dentist a day my kids get excited about. We go for their usual check ups and cleanings (my kids love signing the no cavity wall!), but I can also speak to more involved procedures. My oldest had to have two teeth pulled and she was so scared and nervous about it. Dr. Jayme was, as always, so kind and explained everything and made the entire experience one that my daughter looks back on and remembers it as fun! They are 10/10 a wonderful place to have on your team.

We love kids off Broadway! I brought my son here after a traumatizing experience at another office. He has had 3 separate appointments and everyone has been great! He is no longer terrified of the dentist. My younger son had his first cleaning and also loves it there.

Doctor Jayme is a kind of doctor you would want your kids and all your families kids and all your friends kids to go to. We are truly blessed to have found a dentist so kind, caring and patient in any situation she's given. Shes the most amazing pediatric dentist,and person, I've ever met and sets the bar high in the world of dentistry.

Very accommodating for our family of four kids. Great at communicating. Great environment for kids and friendly staff. My only complaint is that they don't have a closer location. We're about 30 minutes away.

Dr. Jayme and her staff are always very gentle, kind and accommodating. When one of my kids broke their front tooth, Dr. Jayme advised me after hours and came in to make sure he was able to manage the pain until the next day. My four kids enjoy seeing her and are always willing to go when we have our scheduled appointments. The office is clean and centrally located. I have recommended Dr. Jayme to many local parents and will continue to do so.

We love Kids Off Broadway Dental, Dr. Jayme and her staff are absolutely wonderful. Not only are they super professional but they are always incredible with my children. I'm so glad we switched to them a few years ago and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my children's dental needs. It is so hard to find a good dentist for kids, they exceed all my expectations every time. I highly recommend them.

We came this office based on all the positive reviews. I would say after our experience you cannot always trust all the positive reviews. We were very disappointed in our first visit and this experience for our kids. It was our sons first time ever being to the dentist. When you go to the dentist particularly as a first time patient, and especially with your kids you expect the dentist to actually be there. We were not informed that the dentist was not there until after the hygienist had already done X-rays on my daughter. They said the dentist was out due to family emergency, but if she saw anything on X-rays she would call us. She has never seen our children before to even have a baseline to compare. The hygienist cleanings were not very thorough on either my daughter or son in my opinion, and the hygienist who cleaned my daughter's teeth seemed a bit unsure of what she was doing. Needless to say we were very unhappy about this visit. My wife called later to express our disappointment in the visit and the fact that if we wanted to go somewhere else, and have a dentist actually look at our children's teeth we would have to wait 6 months if they billed our insurance. We were apologized to and told since the dentist was not there, our insurance would not be billed for either child. Well the office lied to us because they submitted a claim for $255 for our daughter for this very disappointing visit. The dentist herself may be great when she is actually there, but we wouldn't know. We will not be going back based on our experience, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
