Dr. Grewal received her dental degree at the University of California, San Francisco and her Certificate in Pediatric dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston. She served as full-time faculty and then the Associate Director of the Pediatric Dentistry Program at the NYU-Lutheran site in Massachusetts. She then moved to Michigan and taught as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (UMSoD).
Dr. Grewal is a Board Certified pediatric dentist with extensive experience in providing care for pediatric patients in a clinical and hospital setting. She has also served as the director of Pediatric Dentistry Special Needs Service at Mott Childrens Hospital, Ann Arbor. Her clinical research interests focused on improvement in dental experiences of children with Autism with various behavioral approaches including virtual reality. She has presented at various national and international conferences and worked with community partners to enhance oral health education.
Dr. Samita Gumber (Dr. Sam to her patients) is a Board Certified pediatric dentist who comes from a diverse background. Dr. Gumber was born and brought up in India, where she completed her dental school and graduated with a masters degree in pediatric dentistry. She moved to the United States in 2016 and completed her second masters degree in pediatric dentistry at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with her research on children with Autism Spectrum disorder.
Dr. Gumber firmly believes in giving back to the community and has participated in multiple community dental health programs in India and the United States. She is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and enjoys teaching undergraduate students and pediatric dentistry residents.
In her spare time, Dr. Gumber enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and playing badminton. She is a huge Bhangra (Punjabi Folk dance) and Bollywood fan and loves to dance on Punjabi and Bollywood numbers.
Dr. Gumber is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Michigan Dental Association, the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry.
Chelsea graduated from Siena Heights University with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. She had worked in general dentistry for three years prior to transitioning into pediatric dentistry. When not at the office, Chelsea enjoys cooking and obsessing over The Vampire Diaries. She is a Mom to two wonderful children and two German Shepherds.

Wonderful, caring staff. They do whatever it takes to make the child feel comfortable. He love is there, especially the turn crank machine at the end for a surprise. Clean, professional, we love it.

We absolutely LOVE the work they do here!! All of the employees (mostly "the girls") are just amazing people, always sweet and caring with the little ones they work on. The office is always neat and clean, as well as the workers are always polite and professional. I could go on about how wonderful this office and all personnel are, but I'll just give 5 STARS. Something that is extremely difficult to do in my book.

I love them there. They are very friendly and very patient with my daughter. Before we came here my daughter did not like going to the dentist and now she loves it. Now she is on the adult side and they are wonderful over here as well. Marisa and Dr. Gumber are amazing. Highly recommend.

The staff is very pleasant! Never a long wait time. My kids feel comfortable and at ease going to the dentist! Both of my kids see the hygienist Chelsea. She is very friendly and makes everything fun!

The staff is amazing and very friendly. They take very good care of their patients I recommend them to all the parents downriver. Chelsea is who we usually see for our cleanings and she does a very good and gentle job! I probably wouldn't go anywhere else !

Horrible experience with the staff. The staff was rude and short with me. Every time I had an appointment for my son they would call and reschedule at least trying 6 months out. They did this 3 times. I told them I was going to have to look for another dentist and the staff said "do what you have to do". Maybe you would get better reviews and more satisfied customers if your staff were horrible...think about it.
