Dr. Robert Ellis received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and then completed a two-year pediatric dental residency there, receiving specialized training to treat children. He served as Chief Resident during his residency. Dr. Robert received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and is privileged to be in practice with his father (Dr. Bob Ellis), his sister (Dr. Amy Ellis Green), childhood friend (Dr. John Jenkins). Dr. Robert also served as President of the South Carolina Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Robert loves his profession and feels extremely fortunate to provide dental care to his young patients. He also has privileges to provide dental care in a hospital setting at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital and The Palmetto Surgery Center. Dr. Robert and his wife, Angie, enjoy chasing around their two young children. They also enjoy traveling and dining out. Dr. Robert is an avid sports fan and enjoys competing in triathlons.
Lauren was born in Maryland and moved to Myrtle Beach after graduating high school. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 1994 with a degree in American History. Lauren moved to Knoxville, TN in 1998 and returned to Myrtle Beach in 2017. Lauren has been working in the dental field since 1998 and has been a Dental Office Manager for over 15 years. Lauren currently lives in Myrtle Beach with her beloved pooch, Harper Lee and her kitty cat, Jimilee. In her downtime, Lauren enjoys reading, movies, music and spending time near the ocean.
