Dr. Robert Ellis received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and then completed a two-year pediatric dental residency there, receiving specialized training to treat children. He served as Chief Resident during his residency. Dr. Robert received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and is privileged to be in practice with his father (Dr. Bob Ellis), his sister (Dr. Amy Ellis Green), childhood friend (Dr. John Jenkins). Dr. Robert also served as President of the South Carolina Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Robert loves his profession and feels extremely fortunate to provide dental care to his young patients. He also has privileges to provide dental care in a hospital setting at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital and The Palmetto Surgery Center. Dr. Robert and his wife, Angie, enjoy chasing around their two young children. They also enjoy traveling and dining out. Dr. Robert is an avid sports fan and enjoys competing in triathlons.
Lauren was born in Maryland and moved to Myrtle Beach after graduating high school. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 1994 with a degree in American History. Lauren moved to Knoxville, TN in 1998 and returned to Myrtle Beach in 2017. Lauren has been working in the dental field since 1998 and has been a Dental Office Manager for over 15 years. Lauren currently lives in Myrtle Beach with her beloved pooch, Harper Lee and her kitty cat, Jimilee. In her downtime, Lauren enjoys reading, movies, music and spending time near the ocean.

Terrible service.... there was a accident on hwy 501 with traffic backed up and was told had to reschedule appointment for 6 months later because was 20 mins late due to traffic.... ridiculous

We've been going here for years and we love them. Everyone is super nice and they always make the kids feel comfortable. Even when we had a big bill once they were really cool about it, and let me pay them in installments. The facility is clean and sanitary. Plus, they have TVs at every station and the kids can stream whatever movie they want while they get their teeth cleaned (or cavities filled). Amazing trauma-free dentist!

Friendly staff with excellent skills to interact, educate and have fun with the kiddos. Took my girl in today for her 1st ever dentist appointment at 18 months and she had so much fun! Love the way everyone interacted with her and explained step by step what was going on and how to continue having a healthy mouth. Thank you all for such wonderful care

Very happy!! My daughter was very nervous but all the staff were very friendly to her and made her feel at ease. The dentist especially was awesome, explained every thing so my daughter could understand and answered all her questions. Once her appointment was over, I asked her how she had felt about her visit to the dentist and stated she was very happy and that the doctor was the best. I can't remember the doctor's name but I think it was Dr. Stephanie, awesome doctor!!!

Yes our experience at kids first dental is absolutely wonderful what a great staff a team!! These women in here are the best they have positive vibes loving hearts and care for the children!! Makes me and my son feel so welcome thanks for you did for our visit today.. ms Tracy was wonderful great energetic and cheerful. We are all the way out of Mullins! My son wanted ms Tracy to go to Applebees with us she's lovely and his dentist thank y'all. It started out with ms crystal who answered the phone understood my situation and was a great help.. ms Monica was sweet and caring to us she has a beautiful smile we love y'all all y'all did today!! The staff is amazing!! They are very sweet and friendly! My son was a little nervous for his fillings but they put him at ease almost instantly. They kept him calm and comfortable during his visit and we were in and out in no time. Tracy was especially great! I feel very blessed to have found an office full of such caring people!

Today was my daughter's first time ever visiting a dentist office and I couldn't be more pleased with the service she received. The facility was nice and clean and the entire staff were kind and welcoming.

Great staff!! Made my 13 year old son feel comfortable, during his cleaning and X-rays, by being nice to him, and explaining what they were doing for each procedure to him. He also left feeling confident with his beautiful bright smile and knowing he has no cavities . Also a very cute office for small kids.

Lisa was amazing with my son (he's on the spectrum). He hasn't been to the dentist for a cleaning since Covid and I don't think he remembered. She explained everything to him during the cleaning and let him touch and examine everything before using it! Dr. John was also great with him. They made him feel comfortable even when they knew he was upset and he left happy! Will definitely recommend to others I know with children.
